Pours a clear gold, with a small white head. Aroma is sweet and grassy, with some malt honey and grains. Flavor is much of the same with the honey and grain dominating the palate. Finishes mildly bitter and lightly crisp.

Crisp, slightly sweet, light taste. Some apple flavor. It’s a pretty good beer for a lager and is a prime example that I think there should be some score adjustments based on style ... minimal, good flavors in a pilsner or premium lager, deserve a good score.

Bottle. 12 oz. Split with James, Vinny, and Dev. Pours clear straw yellow with a slight froth white head. Aroma of vanilla, fresh grass, hay, and crystal malts. Slight body with a rounded, smooth palate. Finishes with a whisper. Pretty bad.

UPDATED: OCT 24, 2010 Bottle split with pat and vinny. Pours a light clear golden yellowish body with barely any head. Vanilla aroma. Mouthfeel is thin and smootth with notes of vanilla and butter.

Gah, this was a pretty terrible beer. Granted it wasn’t as cold as it could have been and i was pretty wasted by the time i drank it, the beer was still pretty dull and flavorless with a lot of carbonation.

On tap at Frank Beamer’s American grill, Hampton VA. I knew I had made a bad decision when I saw it... Looks like a bud draft. Has a terrible european lager flavor, but I guess it would be good by those standards
