COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Legend Oktoberfest lager is our most popular seasonal. This brew is red-orange in color, malty but well balanced with noble type hops. It has 5.4% alcohol by volume and is lagered (aged) to create a smooth drinkability. It is most similar in style to a Vienna lager or a Marzen beer. Judicious use of caramelized malt gives this brew a smooth sweetness and deep orange color. It is hopped with American Tettnang, German Hallertau and Czech Saaz.

Out of the bottle came a copper colored brew with a thick foamy head. Well balanced aroma of malt and hops. The taste was also welled balanced with a lingering bit of hop flavor.

The aroma is grainy and malty with metallic hops. The appearance is deep amber with a small head. The taste is like the aroma with a caramel quality. The palate is average for he style. Overall noting special but it is drinkable.

Pours clear dark amber with a dissipating, bubbly light tan head. Aroma is of hops, floral notes, roasted malts, some citrus and a little caramel. Lots of roasted malts in the flavour, spices, smooth hops and some grain and wood notes. Very crisp, complex and smooth.

22 oz. bottle. Clear amber color with a thin tan head that does not last. Aroma is malty with some sweetness and caremel. Taste is slightly sweet with plenty of caramel. Finishes smooth. Creamy mouthfeel. I had to rerate this after finishing the bomber. Overall the malt profile seemed slightly cloying to me. I have had better Octoberfests from this brewery in the past.

Pours a slightly hazy orange amber with nice white head. Smell is vaguely of slightly sweet, caramelized malt, although there’s not too much there. The taste improves on the small, but only to a small extent. Still just a touch of sweetness with nothing really accompanying it. Good medium body supporting what is otherwise a fairly common beer. Drinkability is so-so; no glaring factors but nothing too fantastic either. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 09-18-2010

Brewed in the USA !!! Courtesy of the Capt..Thanks Mark. Pours amber in color with a thin off white head. Aroma of malts and caramel. Taste is malty with some caramel, bread and nuts. Mouthfeel is medium in body and finishes with a pleasant sweetness. Overall this is a very good Oktoberfest !!

Pours a dark-copper, with an aroma of malts and spices (almost pumpkinish?). But I liked it! Tastes of malts, spices, and very smooth hops! Overall, just creamy and balanced. I am officially a fan of this beer!

I have been tasting Octoberfest beers this fall. Legends a local brewery does an excellent job. The deep amber color is clear and my favorite beer color. Not much of a head. The lager could use more carbonation. The head is small and disappears. The sweet lager is very smooth at first and last taste. It could use more hops or spices. This beer format allows you to experiment more. This is quality lager but not special.

Pours a dark amber, redish color with a nice off-white head that persists but does not lace very well. clear. The aroma is sweet caramelwith a faint background note of earthy hops. Mostly malt but somehow balanced. This is a smooth, creamy beer with a medium texture. Sweet in the finish with a hint of earthy hops. When tasting, the caramel sweetness dominates with some small hopiness in the finish A malty celebration as it were. I like this beer. Is it an Oktoberfest, I’d probably say no but who am I to say.
