Black-brown body with minimal tan head. Aroma is cherry, some cocoa. Taste is medicinal cherry, with sour bitterness. Finish is quite sour.

Fascinating nose on this one. Loads of cherries with a rich cocoa backup. Flavor is significantly less interesting. Rather medicine-y with a quantity of sour cherry. Liquid cough drops, if you will. Per the brewer, it was first fermented with ale yeast, then lager yeast, then champagne yeast, and brewed with whatever happened to be lying around. While interesting in some ways, the chaos of its production is noticeable in the oddness of its flavors.
