an IPA crafted with an abundance of rye malt and American hops. A strong bitterness up front gives way to a citrus hop flavor and with a fresh citrus finish.

4 ounce sample on tap at the brewpub. The aroma has a nice orangey citrus and piney character. Light cattiness, too. Seems like Simcoe/Cascade hops. Nice aroma. Mostly transparent golden body with a small-medium creamy white head and good lacing left behind. Starts with some catty, lightly dank hop flavors. Has a nice velvety body of malts, which stay in the background. Finishes with a moderately bitter citrus and piney hoppiness. Pretty good.

(Rating #4000)
