Jul 23, 2007 On draught at the Legends - Howard, WI location, just off of state highway 29. Pours a golden pale amber brew, same color as the Claude Allouez IPA, but with an average white head that leaves behind a good lacing and retention. Aroma is very light with just barely scents of light caramel malt and flowery hops. Taste is slightly tart, light to medium bodied with lots of carbonation with flavors of light multi-grain malt and citrus. Finish still has its carbonation, slightly tart with a near clean finish. Could detect a slight apple aftertaste. Very refreshing and clean cut taste. At first I was expecting the Crocodile lager meant it has some "bite" to it until the server informed me the beer name came from the imported Tasmanian hops.
