Commercial Description:
A crisp English ale with a deep amber color. The roasted finish compliments a lingering hop bitterness. Higher in alcohol.

Beerfest in Chilton. Red-brown in color and surprisingly thin in body and flavor. Was expecting to have my ass kicked and there was quite a bit of sweetness instead, belying the alcohol content.

Weak for its’ style, but decent enough to have a few. Dark copper colour, somewhat cloudy, small thin vanilla head. nutty, roasted malts, and sweet carmale aroma. mouthfeel is well carbonated, but weak in flavors.

On draught at the Legends - Howard, WI location, just off of state highway 29. Pours a clear dark amber brew with an off-white head that dissolves quickly to a fine film and off-white ring. Aroma of light caramel malt, some fruity apples/pears with a touch of citrus peel. Taste is highly carbonated, medlium bodied with more roasted malt flavor with some citrus hop character and some alcohol burn. Finish is slightly gritty, more alcohol burn with a multi-grain aftertaste. For a Scottish Ale, this brew has a personality of an English Strong Ale. Interesting though.
