Kellele siis humalad ei meeldiks? Üks korralik humalapomm tõmbab õllesõpra nagu palderjan kassi. Humaladoosi saamiseks pöörab asjatundja oma pilgu IPA ehk Indian Pale Ale’i poole. Just see ta on- Väike India. Õige lahja kraam, kuhu on ohtralt Columbuse, Simcoe ja Amarillo humalat sisse pandud.

"Little India"
Who does not like hops? One decent bomb of hops draws a beer friend as valerian draws a cat.
For a dose of hops, an expert turns its eyes to IPA or India Pale Ale. It is beer style, where the phrase “too much hops” does not exist. Unfortunately, IPA foresees a decent amount of alcohol, 7% or 8% and more. However, a strong beer is not suitable in every situation. An alcohol remains alcohol and smart beer friend handles it carefully.
What about one IPA being insanely hopped with a little bit of alcohol? That is what Little India is. A small beer with plenty of Columbus and Amarillo hops as well as Simcoe Brand YCR 14 hop variety in it.

330 ml bottle from Tallinna Kaubamaja Toidumaailm. Pours slightly hazy, straw. Aroma is very fresh, floral hops, smells really like a good IPA should smell. No hint of any malts though, so maybe slightly one-dimensional. Taste has also hops, a bit of pine-needle and resin as well. Quite fragrant for IPA, nicely refreshing. Main drawback is that it has pretty much almost no body - but for 2,7% it is quite expected. Overall quite nice, would be perfect for a hot summer day.

An orange beer, a head is big and blond. Aroma has fructose, grapefruits, some strawberries and tropical notes.Taste has tropical fruits, some strawberries, slightly musty maltyness in the end. Good bitterness. Nice bodied, and good beer even with low alc. %.

Look; off white huge head, near clear golden apricot body. Aroma; lots of pine, hops, grapefruit peel. Taste; fresh light hopsy piney grapefruity flavour – leading to a fruity good hopsy finish. Body light, carbonation soft to normal, somewhat dry on palate. Overall; alright regarding that low abv. [33cl brown bottle Abv.2.7% BB10.10.2015 #15 B@Selver Tallinn EE T@Session@Rune]

330 ml bottle. BB 11/08/2015. (Prisma) Tallinn, Estonia.
Slightly cloudy golden color with a small foamy white head. Fruity and piney hops, mild bitterness and some sweetish malt in the aroma. The hops are a bit unfresh but it’s so close to BB date. Unfortunately. The flavor is birch leaves, tea, fruity hops, mild bitterness and some sweetish malt. Balanced. Sweet. 2.7% is well hidden... :) I’d really like to taste this when fresh.

(Lehe Väike India) Bottle 330 ml at home, served into a shaker, ABV 2.7% Pale golden orange colour on the body, clear, with good activity in it. Huge frothy, white head, with average retention though. Faint citrusy aroma, orange peel, grass. Taste has light citrus, light bitterness on it.Lots of metallic notes, especially on the finish. Medium thin body, carbonation on the high side, quite dry palate. Okay.

Bottle from trade with Douberd, many thanks!

330ml bottle kindly shared by djoeye. Dense white head slowly diminishing over hazy golden body. Lacing rings down the glass. Solid hop driven aroma. Lemony hops and grass to the taste profile. Short dry bitter endnotes. Watered. Decent low alcohol beer (Tromsø 27.07.2015).
