eins ehr leckeres dunkles Weizen! --> 13/12/13/13

Pours a dark hazy brown color. Aromas of bread, malt, and some fruit. Flavor has a touch of sweet malt and clove, I think. Overall, not to bad.

Bottle 500ml.
Hazy medium amber brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light roasted, moderate yeasty, banana. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery - creamy, carbonation is soft. [20100307]

Bottle (Danke, Stein am Rhein!): Slowly collapsing big beige head, reddish-brownish coloured, cloudy; sourish-fruity nose with a toasty touch; light to moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, soft MF, medium bodied; toasted malt - again - in the sweet dark-malty and fruity finish. Pleasant Dunkel Weizen...........

(bottle) Cloudy, brown coloured hue with a massive beige foamy head. Yeasty and slightly sweet toast-malty aroma with a distinctive fruity note of red and dark berries and banana, accompanied by notes of cloves. Slightly sweet and sourish flavour, light to medium bodied with a crispy mouthfeel. Slightly toasted malty and moderately wheaty taste with rounded fruity notes. Sweet and slightly sourish tart finish with delicate clove-spicy finish. Good one (03.VI.09).

bottle, bought at the brewery. Cloudy brown colour, large beige head. Aroma of malt and chocolate. Medium-bodied, malty with lovely chocolate flavours combined with a banana-touch. A fine brew.
