Leicht herber, würzig malziger Beginn. Darauf folgt eine angenehme Süße, leichte Schokoladennoten. Würzig, hintergründig etwas wässrig, die Süße klingt schnell ab. Etwas alkoholisches Finish. 8/10/12/9/9/9

Bottle 33cl from Quack-Duck, a clear dark-amber beer with medium head. Nose is on caramel and black-currant hints. Aroma is medium sweet with caramel malt notes, body is medium to low.finish is a bit low, in the average.

Bottle, many thanks to Quack-Duck. Dark brown color with small white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, rum cakes. Taste, caramel, roasted malt, plums, hints of soap. Alcoholic, sweet finish. Not bad, simple beer.

Bottle from Quack-Duck. Dark brown color. Malty roasty aroma with milk chocolate. Malty sweet, roasty flavor with caramel. Hint of butter. Soft roastbitter aftertaste with a hint of soap. Decent.

Bottled 33cl. Courtesy of Quack-Duck. Beautiful nut brown with a decent head which leaves some nice lace. Banana and raisin showing up in the nose. Sweet malty taste with banana and toffee being the most present components. Smooth. Actually flawless. But lacking character and complexity. Reminiscent of banana split- if you like it, try this beer ;-)Thanks a lot Quack-Duck!

Bottle (Kindly delivered by Quack-Duck!): Amber coloured, smaller stable off-white head; light to moderate dark-malty, a bit sugary, nose with a papery and bitter background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; short malty, slightly metallic and bitter finish. No glory..........

(33cl bottle) Clear, dark amber colour with a short tanned layer. Sweet, slightly toasted and ashy aroma with notes of candy and alcohol. Sweet flavour, just medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Malty, slightly toasty taste with ashy accents; sweetish and short finish. Rather disappointing (02.IV.09).
