Test vom 13.5.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,9,8,8,11,8 - 8,60

Bottled 50cl. Courtesy of Quack-Duck. Murky pale golden with a tall white head. Very hoppy aroma for the style with hints of banana and a huge amount of crêpes and lemon peel- interesting. Nice taste. Good hop profile. Deeply refreshing. Spicy. Good bitterness. An atypical Hefeweizen. There is plenty of character to this beer. Dry finish which is reminiscent of mint. Very good! Thanks a lot Quack-Duck!

(bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Cloudy, light-orange colour with a thick eggshell-coloured foamy head. Light-sweet and slightly acidic citrus fruity nose with a moderate wheat-chacter, yeasty notes and shy herbal hoppy accents in the background. Slightly sourish and bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Yeasty, wheat-malty and slightly fruity taste; quite dry, slightly acidic and bitter finish with traces of herbal hops. Decent Hefeweizen (21.04.08).

Bottle. Clove, pepper, and banana tones. Light yellow color - mildly cloudy with moderate head. A very spicy weizen - cloves and pepper with light banana tones. Medium body for a weizen. Not bad - I don’t really like Weizens this spicy but if you like a less fruity beer, then this would be a good choice
