Tampa, Fl - Total Wine & More - 11.2 oz bottle. Pours a slightly murky medium copper with a soft off-white head. Aroma has some brown sugar accents, a hint of molasses. Flavor is sweet and belly warming with some dates, a touch of chocolate, a bit of brown sugar sweetness. Mouthfeel has a nice thick textured feel to it. Not bad at all.

Maria (10176) - Thisted, DENMARK - AUG 3, 2014
The color is dark amber and it has a creamy and lasting head. The aroma has notes of light fruit and malt. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of caramel, fresh grain, fruits and the finish is slightly dry.

FROTHINGSLOSH (5022) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 22, 2014
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a light caramel-amber color with a huge creamy-soapy orange-white head that lingers and left good lacing. The aroma was very malty, vegetal and sweet. The flavor was very sweet corn, vegetal malts and a bit of pretzel dough. Long finish with a growing vegetal presence. Moderately full bodied and very smooth. Ok.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber body under a one finger fizzy off-white head that left some nice lacing. The aroma is grainy and husky with a bit of an earthy and dusty yeastiness. It doesn’t smell very refined. The flavor is a bit husky and grainy as well with minimal to no hops. A little bit of a murky yeastiness on the back end along with some slight caramel sweetness. Light to medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation and a lingering grainy finish. Not exactly a star amongst the style.

Light bodied, pale orange pour with non-existent head and persistent bubbles. Aroma of unleavened bread, semi-sweet malt, light fruity esters. Lacks true depth. Zippy carbonation. Taste is floured dough, under-ripe banana, light chalk, a little metallic. Lacks the clean, crisp profile that is usually coveted from a German-style bier. Not good.

From bottle. Bit of sweet apple and diacetyl, banana and sulfur. Murky dull brown with thin off-white head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Starts sweet and malty with caramel and banana, light yeast. Smooth carbonic dry finish with light nutty sweet after.

Pours a hazy dark amber with three fingers of head. Somewhat yeasty with slight caramel. Fairly sweet. Nice beer.

Bottle. Luscious hay and grass danking across pale/pils malt, very floral hops even pushing the sweetness a bit. Pours dark reddish golden, fizzy with a quickly-dissipating cola head. Taste is sweet and lightly grainy, hints of metal, otherwise sweet floral hops with a touch of citrus and mineral, good straightforward malt flavor. Medium body and somewhat refreshing, light booze in at the end. Not super clean, but actually held up pretty well!

[Bottle] Hazy amber in color. Soapy white head. Sweet malts in the aroma. Signs of oxidation (papery) in the nose. Taste is light floral hops, toffee, grass/straw and caramel corn. Didn’t see a ’best by’ date on the bottle, but seems like age and distance was not too kind to this beer. Tasting notes from 2012.
