On tap at the brewpub. Deep golden to light amber coloured, stable and creamy firm head. Grainy, a bit toasty nose with hoppy sparks. Solid sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied. First sweet-malty and nutty finish with an increasing bitterness in the aftertaste. A tasty and well balanced franconian brew...........

Spritzig herb-karamelliger, allgemein milder Antrunk und weiterer Verlauf, der eher auf Süffigkeit ausgelegt ist. Mittelwürzig, leicht aber angenehm malzig, hier spielt die Herbe deutlich mit. Leicht hefig zum Ende, zudem trocken. 9/8/10/8//8

Draught at the brewpub. The color is warm amber and the head is creamy. The aroma has notes of malt, light straw and the flavour has a light sweetness and notes of malt, light straw, flower and initially I find hints of smoke in the dry finish, but that note disappears after a little while.

Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light to moderate hoppy, perfume, very light notes of rubber - smoke and butter. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090521]

(draught at the Brauerei Gaststätte Leicht) Clear, amber colour with a medium-sized off-white foamy head. Sweet and slightly toasty cara-malty nose with light notes of toffee and herbal hops. Sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Aromatic malt-profile with notes of bread and toffee, rounded up with delicate herbal spice. Drying-out effect towards the sweet-bitter malt-accented finish with a light hoppy touch. A bit sweet but pleasant to drink Franconian “Halbdunkles” (04.X.08).
