COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Leidsch Blond is a fresh fruity topfermented beer. Brewed with the best ingredients: barley, caramalts, wheat, munich, Hallertau and Saaz-hop. The label shows a painting by Jan Steen who lived in Leiden (1626-1679) and who’s of course a world famous painter. Less known are his activities as a brewer like his father was.

Clear orange-gold; fine white head. Sweet, liqueurish , faint fruity, pineapple pie. Dull-sweet taste, like a tin can of pineapple slices that has been forgotten - for a decennium or so. Gets very cloying. Some caramel. Cloying, but not really well bodied. Very disappointing, home-brew like. De Proef ???

White head, yellow body. Nose of hops (grain) and weak malts. Lightly bitter flavour. Short finish. Very lightly bodied. Very weak. Not particurarly bad, rather flavourless.

Long lasting head, wonderful appearance, but a little bit more expected from the flavor. Nice spicy taste though. Excellent beer.

the recipe for this beer is changed in the last year, imho much better than before. fruity, malty aroma. taste: fruity(citrus, banana), spicy(coriander, cloves), malty. spritzy CO2, medium bodied. finish is long, bitter, fruity and spicy. nice beer!

This beer has a amber body - hue apperance and a coarse white scum collar. I have drunk the beer from the bottle and it had a lot of carbonic acid. The initial flavor taste is bitter with a light sweet afther tast.

Golden-orangey colour, nice white fluffy head. Aroma of yeast, citrus, lime and orange. Taste is largely the same with a lingering hopbitterness. Not that special but certainly not bad for a first brew.

Golden color with a touch of orange. Yeasty, chalky and hoppy aroma with a touch of citrus. Yeasty flavor with, again, some citrus, licorice and anis.

Citrus fruity aroma. Cloudy, yellow color, white head, good lace. Light sweet, light bitter, citrus (orange), medium body. Bit unbalanced but has potential to become a nice beer if this new brewery keeps working on their product.
