Thank you for sharing people! Sampled bottled @ “Gouda Winterbier Festival 2016”. Dark amber red, little tanned head. Nose is sweet sugary, candy-like pine, sugary orange peel & malt. Odd. Taste is a bit watery, sugary, sweet weak watery candy & spices, candied pine, honey. Watery body. Watery nature of this one takes it down. Smell was simple but interesting, it is just too watery.

33cl bottle, opens with a nasty gusher Appearance: A hazy brownish body with a medium off-white head, which decaysfast leaving no lacing. Aroma: floral, pineneedles, bubblegum. spices Taste: sweet, Taste has pine needles, some spices, bubblegum, alcohol. a soft bitterness and quite a fresh taste. Above medium body and too soft carbonation. Allthough flawed a unique beer/experiment with some nice taste ellements good enough basis to improve to make it really good.

33cl bottle at home, shared with a friend. An odd flavoured winter beer, this one. It has hints of candy or gum which come from the pine top’s additives. A dark beer with sweet, sugary mouth and subtle bitter touch. A nice - vert sweet - body for a 6.3 percent alcohol beer.

Traded with Douberd. Opaque brown, light brown foamy lacing head. Foam kept poring out of bottle. Hoppy, light sweet aroma, hints of fruit. Strong taste, and despite the strange ingredients a realy good beer. Too bad winter is over. (Velp 201503)
