ahh, so this is what pine tastes like, nice fresh fruity beer with orange and cookie flavours, bit overwhelming bit too much

Sample @ WvhNLB. Pours a clear amber beer with a medium sized off white head on top. Aroma of pine tops, fresh cookies, laurel. Flavor is herbal, cinnamon and nutmeg. Pines fade to the background. Very herbal aftertaste. Meh.

UPDATED: MAY 17, 2014 Clear red-brown colour. The aroma and taste have stewed vegetables and some strange herbal, medicinal notes too. The finish has some Bakewell tart. Confusing.

Pours a brown beer with a good white head. Smells gum, fruity and sweet. Tastes about the same. Wouldnt say it is a strong beer. Average carbo, thin body and a sticky texture.

Sample from tap at Winterbier Festival Gouda 2014 as Pine Tops Boogie Ale. Pours hazy orange/amber with a medium off-white head. Aroma is floral, lavender, pine. Actually smells like a christmas tree. Taste has pine needles, some spices, a soft bitterness and quite a fresh taste. Medium body and carbo. Quite nice actuallly.

Gedronken onder de naam Pine Tops Boogie Ale. Mooi wazig bruin bier met crèmekleurige kraag. Dennennaalden duidelijk aanwezig, net als hars, wat kruiden en een beetje caramel. Ok body en koolzuur. Lekker winters biertje.

Poured dark red. Aroma of bubblegum, oranges, pine, caramel and toffee. Pretty weird aroma. Taste was really sugary sweet, not very pleasant. Full bodied and light carbonation.

A gusher! Thankfully I had my glass right next to it and manage to lose only a couple sips. Poured into a tulip glass. ABV 6.3%. A couple of weeks after its expire date. Pours a very cloudy deep red amber colour, with a huge, froathy beige head, that collapses with lightning speed. No lacing on the glass. Nice aroma, full of herbs and spices. I cn imagine it being great companion for the Christmas holidays. From the ingredients on the label I only can distinguish the orange peel to be honest and something sweet but I can’t name exactly what. Very nice taste too, also full of spices, I can get a bit of the pine needles and the liquorice. Thin body and low to medium carbonation. Overall an interesting beer, surely it would go nice with the festivities spirit. Enjoyable.

Bottle shared with deanso. Poured a dark reddish amber with a thick frothy off white head. The aroma is weak spicy with fruit. The flavour is medium bitter with spicy red berries and a Co2 style sharp bitterness on the palate. A really unique and super special Christmas beer.
