2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle, labeled as Leidsch Morspopbier. Reading more thorough gave me the information that it’s this beer. Pours a pale hazy yellow met with a big, fizzy white head on top. Aroma of funky bananas and big, fruity yeasty esters. Big yeast bomb of an aroma. Flavour is quite ok, medium sweet with a sour background. Fizzy mouthfeel, bit overcarbonated, not disturbing. Decent brew, not much more to say about it.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle courtesy of Deanso. Poured a hazy light amber with a big frothy head and high carbonation. The aroma is yeast and weak banana. The flavour is sharp, crisp acidic with some yeasty, banana notes on the refreshing palate. The high carbonation in this beer makes it more refreshing, but also hides some of the more subtle flavours that I am sure are lurking in the background.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured a deep yellow with a frothy white head. Aroma of sweet, spicey banana. Medium to full body, flavour of a decent Hefeweizen, full and lingering but not cloying sweetness, refreshing.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Yellow haze and a bubbly white head. Yeasty, white sugar, cereal and mild banana. Some of citrus too. Fuller in body and flavour than the last one. What a different yeast can do! This, then, is more refreshing and lemony than your average hefeweizen. Like it. (On tap at the brewer’s open day)
