Yeasty weiss beer - sparkling and fresh. The subtle fruity note makes for an aromatic wheat beer experience. Be sure to shake the bottle to dissolve the valuable yeast from the bottom of the bottle and pour to the glass. Brewed according to the Bavarian Purity Law.
Ingredients: water, wheat malt, barley malt, hops, yeast.

Refrigerated 0.5 L brown flip-top bottle, best before January 9, 2014, poured into a weizen glass. Pours hazy light orange with deep golden highlights and huge frothy white head. Aroma is bubblegum, medium body, well carbonated, and some big bubble lacing. Taste is fruity and yeasty.

Bottle. Hazy golden yellow, big, lacing head. Aromas of banana with a hint of yeast. Taste is well balanced, sweet with low bitterness. Malty, banana aftertaste. Rather flat carbonation with medium texture. Nice sweet Weizen, enjoyed it.

The head on this baby kept growing after I poured it into the glass, overflowing and generally making a mess. The body is slightly hazy and gold in color. The aroma is warm biscuits and maybe a blade or two of grass. (Hefeweizen?) The flavor is much the same, only mildly bitter, and has a drop of honey in it. (Hefewizen? I swear the bottle reads "Leikeim Helle Weisse.") I’m not sure what I’m drinking, but it fails to impress. Except for the head.

500ml bottle. Hazy golden colour with average to huge, fairly lasting, off-white head. Wheaty and yeasty aroma, vaguely fruity, very cautious hints of banana and floury apple, minimally muggy and doughy, a touch of clove. Taste is minimally sweet grainy, wheaty, bready, doughy (slightly sweetened yeast dough), finish with a lemon dash and a touch of orange. Not bad.

Bottle poured a milky orange hue w/ a big fizzy white head diminishing to a ring w/ light lacing. Moderate fruity aromas. Initial flavor is moderate sweet w/ a light sour finish. Tastes are apple cider, banana, lemon, and pear. Light bodied, watery mouthfeel, and average carbonation.

This is a nice looking brew at least, cloudy orange color and a huge, rocky head of fine bubbles. It doesn’t really taste or smell that great though. Mild and vaguely yeasty w/ muted cloves and banana. Has a sort of strange butterscotch note too that pokes it’s head out in the finish. It is a bit undercarbonated for the style too which makes it come off as a bit sweet and heavy. Really not the best example of the style.

UPDATED: APR 10, 2014 Draught @ La bona pinta, Barcelona. Quite dark colour for hefeweizen. Grainy malty aroma and taste. A tad of smokiness as well. Personal and not the typical refreshing summer hefe.

From 500ml bottle. Clean, honey gold with creamy white head. Very sweet smelling. Honey, breakfast cereal and white peaches. Taste is honey drizzled over apricots, both tart and sweet. Creamy mouthfeel that ends dry. Lingering sweetness. Surprisingly complex.

Bottle: Hazy dark yellow, light orange color, white stiff head. Aroma of wheat and cloves. Flavor with wheat, yeast, shy fruitiness, spices. All in all few complex and boring.
