COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Yeasty weiss beer - sparkling and fresh. The subtle fruity note makes for an aromatic wheat beer experience. Be sure to shake the bottle to dissolve the valuable yeast from the bottom of the bottle and pour to the glass. Brewed according to the Bavarian Purity Law.

UPDATED: APR 10, 2014 Bottle: Thanks, Jeff! Nebulous, placid yellow, unfiltered with little bits of sediment. Soft, white head with good retention though not as chunky as I’d expect or like. Aroma is light wheat, some mild ripe fruits, banana with a hint of apple and pear, and not much else. A little too mild for the style. Taste consists of salt-water taffy, banana esters, light wheat, mild clove, some back-end yeast, and a faint, residual sugary sweetness. Finish has some buttery popcorn flavor, seems like excess diacetyl, not a good sign. Despite that, not a bad beer, but just okay at best. Many better hefes out there.

Expected fruit and ester nose with citrus. Pours hazy dark gold with large rocky white head. Body is on the thinner side with crisp carb. Flavors are fruity sweetness with some malts and somewhat flat finish. It’s not bad, but not exciting either. A decent hefe.

Cloudy, dark yellow-gold with a tall, cream head. Wheat, orange aroma. Taste is sweet wheat malt, banana, orange. A little cardboard-ish.... Average.

Cloudy straw color. Somewhat of a medicinal aroma, almost tequilla like hints. Some light fruit (over ripe bananas). A bit grainy.

Bottle: The aroma consists of banana, apple, and a touch of citrus. It pours a cloudy dark orange with a two finger off-white head that quickly fades to a thin film. There is some dotted lacing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with a quick dose of banana and citrus. The finish has some grainy and wheat notes. It’s medium bodied with mild carbonation. Overall, it’s sort of a dull Hefeweizen.

0.5l bottle. Aroma of banana with lots of spicyness and a little earthyness. Taste of banana, spices and some lemony sourness. Balanced, but the taste is a little flat. The body is light. Nice everiday weizen.

Yeasty banana and caramel nose, heavy babyfood element. Cloudy amber, thick head, nice lacing. Bready banana flavor, bread crust finish. Not overly tart or tangy like many wheat beers, but still very refreshing. A very good German hefeweizen.

Pours yellow , orange cloudy hazy body with white creamy long lasting head. Aroma is wheat, yeast, peaches, banana, nuts. Palate medium bodied, with slick feel, little watery mouth feel. Carbonation is smooth , tart, smooth and mouthful. Taste is dry from yeast, distinct wheat, with some citrus fruity notes. Taste is tart sweet, fruity. Finish refreshing, no bitterness, some grassy wheat malts. OK, nothing special.
