Swing top bottle. Blonde, cloudy. Wheat, mint and tangerine in the aroma. Yeasty minty flavor with anis and citrus notes. Vanilla aftertaste. Interesting weizen.

Swingtop at Carrboro Beverage thanks to Israel. Not a big hefe fan as it is, but this stuff just tastes very pale lagerish. Grainy, light wheat, light clove and banana, but only noticeable if you’re looking hard.

Guess I was expecting a little more from a beer from Germany...not so much. Pretty much average in every category. Not a bad beer just not one I would seek out especially at a premium import price.

Bottle:   Orangish straw, very hazy, moderate to large foamy white head, nice lacing.   Banana, bubblegum, and clove nose, wheaty, not too bright but noticeable and within the style.   Similar on the tongue, feels wheaty, slightly sweet.   Comes across as a little more fruity than others, which isn’t bad.   Seems to have even a touch of roastiness that I would associate with a Dunkel Weiss.   The longer I drink this one, the less flavorful it becomes.   I should say, it doesnt appear as bright as I earlier thought.   Body and mouthfeel are quite nice, full, without being too bubbley.   I was really surprised with this one, and I enjoyed more than I would have thought.   I don’t see a lot of new German Hefe’s out here, so I am happy that we have another option.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts strong, yeasty, but not too dry. More and more fruity like banana, modest sweet. Finish well balanced, less yeasty, more fruity. Nice hefeweizen!

Bottle at DSG 2011. Golden-orange colour with an off-white head. Aroma is orange, wheat, banana. flavour is orange , wheat, banana, cloves, malt. Medium body. OK beer.

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, Ulfborg 2011. Slightly hazy golden, with a nice dense white head.Sweet yeasty aroma and flavour, lots of bananas.

(bottled) . Drank from a Schneider glass... nose is all the typical customary hef stuff but with a fruitiness of apple esters ? in 3D grabing my nose and showing some spunk....rich upfront on first sip, rich on my second and third sip too , but dryness festers ... bananas and wheat ...bananas and wheat ...would be good with breakfast on a hungover Sunday morning.

UPDATED: APR 21, 2012 0.5L swing top bottle. Deep hazy orange color, long lasting compact creamy white head with good lacing. Nose has some fruity & citrusy notes. Sweet malts & wheat with fruity notes and a caramel hint, yeast, chestnut flour, backed with a light grassy bitter finish. Carbonation is lively but quite low, dense body. Simple, hearty, honest, smooth, raw... good!.

Unclear medium orange yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly - fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, yeast, light banana. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft. [20110820]

Hazy golden, spice wheaty fruit aroma. Sweet wheaty frúity flavour fresh nice.
