COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Charakterstarke, süffige Landbierspezialität in Exportbierqualität.
Ein echt würziger, frischer Biergenuss!

My bottle gushed a bit. It’s not at accident waiting to happen levels but I thought I should mention it for the sake of those of you who open your beers over carpet. It pours a slightly hazed golden yeallow w/ a long-lasting white head of fine bubbles. This is an unfiltered landbier but I’d say it comes in around in the Dortmunder area stylewise. It has just a touch of lemon zest hops but not bitter enough to be a pils and it doesn’t have the big malt character of a helles. My bottle is old, expired even, but this still drinks pretty nice so I am being a bit lenient w/ my final numbers. It is actually something of a feat to have a beer taste this good after sitting on a store shelf for a year.

Almost clear gold beer, residual white head. Palate starts smooth but turns lightly crisp. Light creamy pale malt, fresh tasting. Sweetish light hops, subtle orange citrus. Smooth finish. Nice beer, fresh tasting and very drinkable.

Bottle: Light malty/grainy aroma with more intensive, grassy hop notes. Plae golden color, white head. Flavor is very pleasant malty/grainy with grassy hops. Mild finish.

Clear dark yellow with white lacing foam head. Strong aroma of barley, some grass and hay notes. Taste is decent barley, good German beer, little spicy. Nice small bitter aftertaste. (Velp 201401)

(Bottle, as ’Landbier Hell’)
(Thanks, ’Doro’ and TS)
Fairly light straw colour with big holey head that settles to a Gondwana.
Light, slightly husky grains and a touch of light fruits in the aroma. Smells fresh and ’eco’ (but not in a bad way).
That vegetal hop I’m not so keen on is clearly present, as are some light grains. The finish is mainly the same hop, and some light grains.
Lively carbonation.
A fairly light and unambitious beer perhaps but fresh and clearly made with proper ingredients, which makes a difference
Unusually, Phil did not share this.

ElDesmadre (1361) - Mikołów, POLAND - NOV 5, 2013
Bottle. Nice, rocky head on this one, nice creamy palate and nice hazelnutty notes in the finish. These three points make this otherwise one-dimensionally pale malty beer stand out among its helles peers. Very well executed.

Pale blond, clear, thin head. Grassy aroma with light citrus. Quite a lot of biscuity malts and some fruity hop leading to a light dryness in the finish.

Slightly hazed, dirty gold with a short white head. Mild grain malt aroma. Taste is grain...sweet... Slightly creamy malt. Ok, but not an outstanding example.

A "Landbier" with a nice light color and a small amount of foam. A nice and tasty beer.

Flip top 500 ml bottle shared. Pours a straw yellow color with a big fizzy head that quickly fades to a ring. Aroma is sweet pale malt some grassy, floral and light fruity hops. Taste is decent, nice light sweet malt, some bitterness. Tastes a bit old in a way and it’s not nearly as smooth as the premium version I just had. It’s ok, kinda fruity, a little dry.
