Bottle, 5.1%. Mild fruity/spicy aroma, some wheat. Cloudy dark orange colour. Tight and stable head. Lemon-flavoured. A little sour, balanced by sweetness. Mouthfeel/carbonation is prickly, yet soft. Very refreshing.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottled. A stange aroma to this one, seemed to be a funky, earthiness. Dark gold pour, some light fruit and clove, but unremarkable, pass on it next time, average, but drinkable.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Swing-top. Aroma of wheat, yeast, and hoppy funk. Cloudy light orange pour; very lacy, creamy, rocky white head. Light, watery body; slight cloves in with the wheat and yeast, light sour tang. Citrus and tart finish, slight acidity. Finally, a clean, drinkable HW on this trip.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
(swing top bottle) Hazy orange colour with a big but not very persistent off-white foamy head. Light-sweet and slightly wheaty aroma with sour and fruity (apricot, banana) notes. Moderately sweet malty, not pronounced wheaty taste with a sour-fruity touch, light to medium bodied, rather smooth carbonation for a Hefeweizen; fruity finish with light noters of cloves. Fairly average.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottled. A hazy dark gold coloured hefe which poured with an enormous white head and left good lacing. The aroma is quite pleasant with good banana and clove notes. The taste also has hefe qualities with creamy bananas but it’s all abit watery thin - even for the style. Average.

500ml fliptop bottle at the Bamstammhaus in Walduff. Poured cloudy yellow with a big white head. Very light aroma of yeast with just a subtle banana aroma. Flavor was pretty light but the body was fairly full. Light yeast and banana flavor. Not much else going on with this hefe. Drinkable.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful yellow beer with a characteristic, tall head. Fresh and "spritzig" - lots of carbonation. Quite dry with some citrusy notes and a short, limited bitterness. Not a bad Hefe. 230900
