3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Indeed a rather good beer. Malt aromas.
Tastes malty, herbal and fruity hops. As a session beer this is much better then any other lager or swill that is commonly available here in Holland, a pity that i had to get this in Germany.

Actually quite a good beer. So far all the german winterbeers have been very non-wintery for a scandinavian. I would think of this as a summer beer, because it’s more flowery and smooth, rather than dark and intense. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed this beer, full taste despite the freshness.

Yellow, clear. Malty aroma. No bitterness, very smooth but quite boring. An okay beer, however not very winterlike...

Drank with Stegosaurus. Golden Pour with decent white head. Sweet malts and fruit aroma. Acidic after taste. It wasn’t bad. I heard there going out of business.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle: Clear, pale golden coloured, mid-sized white head, sticking to the glass; faint malty nose, traces of cardboard, a metallic touch, too; slightly sweetish, malty flavour, a bit sticky mouthfeel; faint sweetish malty, again, finish with a metallic tinge; rather light bodied. Neither anything special for cold winter evenings nor a "Traum" (dream)................

pale golden, aroma of mostly malts, decent foamy white head, not bad tasting by far, just not as good as most lagers i have drank .

(swing top bottle) Clear and pale golden colour with a foamy white medium head. Dusty and light-sweet grainy nose with a grassy hoppy background. Initially moderately sweet malty, grainy, light to medium body, light bitter finish with an unpleasant skunky note of rotten vegetables.

Bottled. Skunky hop and grain aroma. Yellow/golden color, white head, fair lace. Maltsweet, pretty bitter start, light herbal hops, very straightforward. Too sweet for a pilsener, way to much pilsener to give you the Winter Dream you’d expect in a winterbeer.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pale gold, whitish head, disappearing fast. Grainy, dry nose, fresh Pilsener malt. Ugh - sweet, malty Pilsener, truckloads of restsweetness. Watery texture with unwelcome sugar slickness. Terribly disappointing beer, oversweet Pilsener, yuk.
