Not a bad beer (if you can call it that) on a cold winter night, but it’s nearly impossible to drink more than one of these. swwild (8), Northfield, Minnesota, USA does not count | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 4, 2008 Has good apple taste real similar to cider. I try to get this every fall and hope that I bought enough for the year. scooterbub (332), Lander, Wyoming, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 4, 2008 Bottle. Pours a golden color with a nice white head that fades away. Aroma is of apple and cinnamon. The taste is similiar. Has a real nice mouthfeel and lingering aftertaste. Goes down easy and is pretty smooth. Overall, this is a pretty tasty brew that is fairly priced and could be consumed in mass quantities far too easily. unixweb (237), Sherman, Texas, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 26, 2008 Very thin foamy head on this brew, and the beer itself is slightly cloudy and pale yellow. It smells like apples, and something else, but I can’t really tell what it is. It reminds me of the apple beer (non-alcoholic) I had as a kid, but with a spicy finish and less sweetness. It finishes nicely, but the tartness makes me want to barely sip it, not really drink it, at least not without food. It doesn’t taste like a beer, but it’s decent. esjaygee (1519), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Mar 16, 2008 12oz bottle. Mild cloudy yellow with thin foamy head. Aroma is of heavy apples with a touch of cinnamon. Wow an apple beer… tastes like apples. Mild tart dry finish, semi-mouth stripping. It accomplishes what it was aiming for, but just not up my alley. xuhuckit19 (16), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Mar 12, 2008 Leinenkugel went a little far with the spices for their Apple Spice. It is also very sweet which is a downfall for me. a sub-par beer. travita (1908), Frisco, Texas, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Feb 20, 2008 Pale gold with an average head. Strong smells reminds me a the ready mix cider that you can buy. You could definitely chug this stuff down because it drinks more like an apple soda than a beer.
