redgold07 (308), Irving, Texas, USA Nov 12, 2007 Lots of flavor/aroma here. The apple and cinnamon stand out very well, but don’t over power. "Tastes like adult Christmas."
12 oz. bottle bendz1 (86), Ankeny, Iowa, USA Nov 9, 2007 OK at best. Amber in color with little head that disipates quickly. Great apple/cinnemon smell. Flavor is of cheap immitation cinnemon. kmeves (1080), Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, USA Nov 6, 2007 Pour is a light yellow with a frothy, white head. The aroma is red delicious apples, cinnamon and pumpkin. The flavor is really more of the same only a bit sweeter. I could not detect much of a hop prescence. Aftertaste is a bit more malty and somewhat long. Small bodied with lively carbonation. Decent beer if you are only going to have one beer. scoobysnak (249), Appleton, Wisconsin, USA Nov 4, 2007 The smell is really good, apples and cinnamon. The initial taste is really good I must say but for some reason the aftertaste is really unpleasant to me. I like the attempt and this is the first apple type beer I’ve had but I could definately do without the aftertaste. wizzler (25), Manitowoc, Wisconsin, USA Nov 3, 2007 First one of this years season for me. taste different than last year. apple taste seems less synthetic. it is less sweet which is good. Gregis (1132), Shawnee, Kansas, USA Nov 2, 2007 Pours a sparkling light yellow with a loose, frothy, white head. The nose is a sweet red apple juice with notes of cinnamon and a light plastic. Light-bodied and lively with a sweet-tart finish. The flavor is a tart apple juice, cinnamon and red apple peel with a clean, crisp finish. A nice change of pace from all of the Oktoberfests and pumpkins that hit the shelves this time of year. Too sweet to drink in quantity, but it’s a nice solo beer for the season. drewbeerme (2224), Chicago, Illinois, USA Nov 2, 2007 12oz bottle. no thanks to holdenn for this, dick! pours clear straw with creamy white head. nose is infected, medicinal, with some apple peel. flavor is so bad, so sweet, rotten apples full my mouth, i can’t bare a second sip, but i’ll do it for the sake of good beer reporting. oh man it’s worse than the first, it does taste infected but not in a normal way, and i’m not going for a third sip to find out more, sorry, but i care for myself too deeply to go there. this is one of those beers i would love to see the brewer drink. AOF (282), Naperville, Illinois, USA Nov 2, 2007 Very light golden color. Looks more like a white wine then a beer. Nose is apple champagne. Small hints of cinnamon and nutmeg. Surprisngly nice on the palate. I expected some bitterness but its actually sweet and fairly and well balanced. Obviously not your everyday beer, but a nice seasonal selection.
