The added cinnamon gave it a fresh pastry smell. Except for the creamy white head, the pale yellow body looked like a cider. And damned if, except for the neatly blended in cinnamon, it didn’t taste like cider, too. Refreshing, yes, but I like more beer in a fruit beer.

Apples, and mild cinnamon dominate the aroma. Just a touch of bread dough in the backdrop. The malt really hits the front of the tongue and then releases to a crisp and clean apple flavors set apart with mild spice bite. Malt noticeable mid to late quaff. Quite refreshing in a cider/brew way. i Will be serving this as celebratory shots at the Badger @ Rainbow Warrior game late this month. Also will try warm. A solid effort. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 2, 2006 Bottle. Poured a clear amber with a large creamy white head that was lasting and produced fair lacing. Heavy apple and cinnamon aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture. Heavy sweet apple and cinnamon flavor with an average green apple finish. Good full flavored fruit brew. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 29, 2007 Bottle from Half Time. Medium gold color with aroma and flavor of apple, plus brown sugar and cinnamon. Very cidry, and very drinkable, although this one will not satiate a beer drinker. Still, not bad as such. muzzlehatch (4427), Burlington, Vermont, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 31, 2005 12 oz bottle consumed at my friends’ house in Minneapolis. Thin lasting white head, bubbly god body....fresh, light sweet cider nose, cinnamon ginger and plum featured as well...soft juicy body, hints of tartness, not excessively sweet....just a touch metallic late, but not enough to seriously damage things...overall, not bad and one of the better offerings from this Wisconsin institution. heemer77 (4303), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 27, 2005 Light yellow body tha tis slightly hazy. Topped with a thin white head. The aroma is tart Jonathon apples with cinnamon and butter. The taste is MacIntosh apples with very light cinnamon. There is also a light cherry freshness. Smooth mouthfeel finishes this. | 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Jan 26, 2006 Hazed golden hue with a nice frothy head. The aroma has a very nice dominate apple character, Jolly Rancher like with some notes of cinnamon and nothing else. The taste is...ARRGH my palate just got violated! Like apple juice that got way too old, simply awful and cloy. Doughy tasting on the aftertaste with no character to speak of. Drain pour for sure. AVOID! Skyview (4020), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 4, 2007 I like apples so I had to try this, at the employee tavern in the Miller brewery of Milwaukee. A very fragrant brew I’ve enjoyed and you can pick up the apple and cinnamon aroma right away. It reminds me a little like an apple wine cooler than a cider, but very refreshing. I would prefer Apple Spice on tap than from a bottle. This brew is more like a summer/fall beverage than a Christmas holiday beer.
