Commercial Description:
The leaves - at the height of their color, but before the inevitable fall. And the apples - ripe for the picking, and the absolute peak of their flavor. It's this moment that you'll find captured in our new Leinenkugel's Apple Spice. We take the fresh, delicious taste of real apples - as crisp as the first bite off the tree - and add just a touch of cinnamon for a hint of spice. The result is a mouthwatering blend that's perfect for sharing with friends. It's flavor to the core. We use over 2000 pounds of apples in every brew.

Good beer for listening to a football game in the fall, I like it to get a general Fallsy feeling. Won’t knock your socks off, but you can drink alot of these in one sitting and feel good about it.

Very light golden color. Looks more like a white wine then a beer. Nose is apple champagne. Small hints of cinnamon and nutmeg. Surprisngly nice on the palate. I expected some bitterness but its actually sweet and fairly and well balanced. Obviously not your everyday beer, but a nice seasonal selection.

The apples in this beer are good. However, I think they added to much of a cinnamon kick to it, and to many spices. It takes away from the refreshing taste and leaves a strange aftertaste in your mouth. Not a horrible fruit beer

Tap. Pale yellow with very little head. Strong apple pie aroma, not exactly beer like but still delicious smelling. Clean apple cinnamon flavor that remindes me of apple juice, not cider. Very fresh tasting. Slightly dry finish with a flavor that lingers...for a long time. Not sure I could handle too much of this, but if you like apple cinnamon more than you like beer, this is right up your alley.

Doesn’t taste like beer that’s for sure. Powerful aroma and flavors of apple and cinnamon. It’s rather overpowering with a dry finisih, like that of wine or better yet, a wine cooler or hard cider. I’m not big on fruit beers, but this is one of the better of the style. One is all could handle, might try one after dinner in place of dessert. Also, the price is always right with Leiney’s.

I don’t think this is retired, or perhaps it has been brought back, I bought it at my local store in the new arrivals section. Nice thick foamy head, the strong apple pie/cinnamon aroma is really the best thing about this beer. A little too sickly sweet for my tastes, somewhat artificial on the apple flavoring. Tastes almost like a cider or even a white wine.

The smell is really good, apples and cinnamon. The initial taste is really good I must say but for some reason the aftertaste is really unpleasant to me. I like the attempt and this is the first apple type beer I’ve had but I could definately do without the aftertaste.

Ok for fall and winter time. Has a very distinct cider taste which makes it attractive for a campfire late in the season. Clear golden pour and sour aroma.
