I love this beer very much so and I can’t help but associate this beer with a Green Bay Packer game. Well done! Bhay99 (4), USA does not count Oct 29, 2007 Love this beer. Great apple taste with a cinnamon spice aftertaste. Wish this was a year round offering beer30 (3), SCS, Michigan, USA does not count Dec 16, 2006 Nice fruit beer. Despite the fruity qualities, it doesn’t make me think of a "fu-fu drink." Pale, golden color with a white head, at first not unlike the texture of creamy meringue. The aroma is like that of fresh apple pie! A slight cinnamon-spicy-sweetness in the aroma and the flavor complements the fresh apples nicely. An excellent dessert beer, or by itself as an aperitif! Extremely drinkable, I could also see this pairing with lighter meats, such as pork or veal! Falconseye8 (525), Cartersville, Georgia, USA Nov 17, 2005 Updated: May 13, 2006Another beer delivered to me courtesy of my neighbor who went on a Wisconsin beer run. This one actually looks more like a lite beer than the New Glarus Apple Ale. Bigger white head than New Glarus. Excellent Fruit beer!!! Much more Cinnamon flavoring than caramel and it significantly changes the flavoring of both beers. Very similar flavor to your average apple pie. Rich, tasty and satisfying, this is equally excellent but done in a very different manner. I give the slight edge to New Glarus because of the Raw Apple flavoring. If you like "Chick Beers" you’ll love this one equally. Exceptionally well done beer with unique flavoring and taste. I’ll stock this one. masdog (1), USA does not count Nov 22, 2005 Great apple taste. Doesn’t taste like a beer at all. Has a good touch of cinnamon that makes this a good sipping beer.
Smells like an apple cider. Coreyryan09 (16), USA Feb 18, 2008 it def could be compared to woodchuck, but i felt that this was much better....my buddy picked up a 6er of alot of leinenkugels products in kansas...up until then id only had sunset wheat...this was a great beer i thought...but that only bad thing is that it didnt taste like beer...great to drink with a warm bowl of chili iin the winter or fall SGTHibbert (100), Perry, Iowa, USA Oct 25, 2006 Intial pour revealed a light yellow sparkling body with a huge fizzy white head and good lacing. Nose was of apples and cinnamon. Initial flavor was apples and cinnamon with light hints of cereal on the smallow. Nice sweet beer. Light to medium body although some what watery. Would make a nice session. Great for the ladies. Goes well with chocolate. Would make a nice fill in for a riesling or a di asti if you are into wines. Bravo!
