More on the girly side so it must be consumed in private if a male. Too thick and syrupy to have more than 2 at a time. speterson (6), Knoxville, Maryland, USA does not count | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | May 6, 2007 This is one of Leinies best brews. Unfortunately the wrong crowd is tasting it. This is beer that is directed to the female drinker. With its redish/purple hue and fruity smell it tends to be more of a summer drink. All I know is I no longer have to drive 800 miles to get it for my wife.. Probiere (992), Iowa, USA

C’mon just because its fruity doesn’t mean its bad - in fact this beer is quite tasty. Pink pour with a pinkish head that diminishes fairly quickly. Light refreshing taste - very fruity. Wonderful for sitting on the porch and drinking a few without falling asleep from the high alcohol content. jgb9348 (2515), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Apr 21, 2007 Pink coloured body with a nice size frothy head. Potent aroma of strawberries, wheat, yeast, malt, and raspberries. Light-medium-bodied; super sweet flavors of strawberries and raspberries up front fading to a malty wheaty flavor. Aftertaste shows more sweetness on the palette all with lingering malt on the backend. Overall, a good and sweet fruit beer, more like a lambic but good to try. I sampled this 12 oz bottle purchased from Olivers Beverage in Albany, NY on 21-April-2007 on the Eastern Shore in VA. Skyview (4128), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Apr 13, 2007 Fruit in my beer? Leinie’s Berry Weiss? If it’s brewed in Wisconsin I’ll try it at least once. Pours a goldish red brew with a violet/white head. Aroma of Koolaid raspberry (oh yeah..), then some light wheat malt, and then something like a stale Vicks Cherry NyQuil. Taste is a light berry fruit with some dry wheat aftertaste. Finish is sweet and a bit watery. Some people may like this. It’s not one I want to run down to the beer depot at the 11th hour to purchase for the weekend. wmubronco1992 (192), Coldwater, Michigan, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 31, 2007 Bottle - No head to speak of. Redish color that reminds me of a dark pink lemonade. Definately a berry smell. Kind of reminds you of drinking a wine cooler. Having one is ok, but you wouldn’t consider another. You really get the berry flavor which isn’t bad, its just that it’s hard for me to call this a beer. Once in a while in the summer a berry beer is fine, but this is just a litle too much berry Brewosk (137), Illinois, USA
