Aroma and taste were fine blend of malt and hops. Clear amber color with average head. Alcohol was well hidden,

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
7/20/12. 12oz bottle thanks to cbfobes! Barely hazed amber pour with a nice khaki head. Huge malt aroma with lots of caramel, sweetness, and a solid dose of dank, sticky hops. Sweet malty entry with lingering dank and sweet hops. Over the years Iíve grown to love bold, fresh hop explosions in the aroma and flavor and this strikes me as more malty and sweet. Eh.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12oz bottle from Spirits Brick. Poured a good looking deep reddish/amber with a small to average frothy off white head. Aroma of candy orange slices, touch of copper, dry vanilla and alcohol. Fuller dry body with a mildly bitter bite on the end at first that slowly builds to a strong amount of bitterness, average carbonation and an almost syrupy feel. Flavor of syrup, toast, sweet ornage pulps, dry vanilla. Meh, first Big Eddy that I really donít care for that much.

I hate dipas like this. No bitterness, hops are just candied orange. No depth.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pour out of 12 oz bottle, finally glad to be able to try this brew! Clear amber orange pour with thin but lasting rim of white head, aroma brought notes of big grapefruit, orange, lemon peel, hints of grass and pine, some more mango, pineapple, passionfruit and tropical fruit notes complement, touch of caramel and toffee, hints of yeast and bready malts as well, toasted malts come through as well. Taste is sweet candied orange peel, grapefruit juice, some squeezed lemon and lemon peel, hints of mango and pineapple, slight grass and pine notes but the fruit is the focus, after the blast of sweet hoppy fruit there was a caramel and toasted malt middle, some slight yeast notes, a slightly snappy spice and yeast finishing fairly bitter, slightly sweet fruit the hops and full bodied. Carbonation is low to medium, but pushes through the palate fairly well. Very well done.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Sendiks in Brookfield. Pours a clear copper orange with very little head - just a floating soapy top leaving little lacing. Aroma has nice fruity hops, plenty of pine, citrus and sweet caramel. Taste is of sweet fresh fruit, citrus with a solid caramel malt presence getting more piney bitter throughout the glass. Somewhat sticky without a lot of alcohol showing. Finishes bittersweet and smooth. This one is pretty good, somewhere in the category of a lighter double ipa? I really felt I missed it a few years back and looked a lot, so quite pleased it came back to give me a chance to enjoy.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Thanks for sharing, bro!
Pours a crisp copper color with a thin soapy head that leaves very little lacing. Aroma is orange zest, earthy hops, and other bits of citrus. Taste is much the same - definitely an earthy and astringent IIPA. I can appreciate it but it isnít an IIPA Iíd take down a lot.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This poured a darker amber color with a beige head. Araomw as big citrus and grapefruit notes, some caramel malt, light darker fruits and some lemon zest. Flavor was way too sweet for this style, nice hop flavors and a good amount of bitterness, but way too malty to be a great IPA.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Fruity, rich, high alcohol aroma. Clear brown. Some visible carbonation. Lasting off white head with beautiful lace, Would have expected more haziness for an IPA. Best beer that Leinieís makes but as IIPAs go, not that great.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pour is a dark orange with almost no head at all. Aroma is super sweet with a piney hop backbone. Flavor is again sweet to start then comes an ok but not overpowering hop. This beer is very thick and syurpy. Will satisfy your hop crave but this is way to sweet, heavy and thick. The hops could be a little more pronounced as well.
