Pours a clear deep copper with a sticky eggshell head. Aroma has sweaty, sticky dank hops and caramel. Also some hard candy. Taste is sweet and bitter. Iíve had several beers like this. Not my favorite hops and much too syrupy.

Bottle. Deep copper with small beige head. Aroma of resinous hops, malt, and light fruit notes. Medium/heavy body, medium resinous hop bitterness, a nice malt backbone, and a citrus bitter finish.

Reviewed from notes. Iím surprised Iíve never said anything on this until now, woops, my bad. Anyways, poured into a snifter, the appearance was a glossy golden orange color with a one finger white foamy head that quickly died off and leaving barely any lacing. The smell had a bright citrus aroma with a slight grapefruit edge. Lurking behind is a light presence of dried caramel malts. The taste was semi-sweet but still carried the normal bitter edge widely accepted amongst most DIPAís. On the palate, a long sweet to spicy to bitter grapefruit-esque aftertaste led into a dry finish. This one when fresh is a sipper but as it ages like most DIPAís, this one shows its gracefulness or lack there of and becomes fairly harsh in about three months time. Overall, you know this can be a good DIPA if consumed fresh, but though stated 9%, in three months time, it really doesnít last longer.

"Within its best by date but lacking in fresh hop aroma and flavor. Lots and lots of spice, biscuit and caramel. Iíve really liked the big eddy stout and scotch ale, but this is just bittersweet and under aerate for the style. 1 timer."

From old notes, tasted with Curtis and some friends in Nashville, probably some time near the summer of 2012, from a 12oz bottle. Pours clear light orange with an average white head that leaves average lacing. The nose is pretty simple resin hops up front with a decent caramel malt backbone. The flavor is lightly sweet caramel malt up front, moving to the green resin hops on the back of the palate. The body is medium with average carbonation and a long bitter resin hops finish.

Golden, lite amber and off white head. Caramel, mild alcohol, floral, fruit, and medium citrus. Full bodied, syrupy, flavor like aroma. Ok balance, high bitterness, medium alcohol finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from bottle to glass. Copper hue with creamy off white head that dissipated to a ring. Aroma is melon, papaya, tangerine, peach, caramel, straw, figs, pine. Mouthfeel is fantastic with a full body and zesty carbonation. Taste is sweet throughout with a nice hop bitterness in the following and extending through the finish. Overall this is a really nice I2PA.

12 oz. bottle. Orange in color with amber hue, light head retention. Aroma is floral with light resin and some sweet malt. Tones of citrus.

The flavor is moderate sweet caramel and toffee malts, mild citrus and notes of tangerine. More on the sweet side of a DIPA. Mildly syrupy texture and lightly bitter. Medium bready malt body with mild carbonation. Overall it is more sweet than you may want in a DIPA. Note** This bottle was only a moth old, pick it up because Iím not sure if I will ever see it on draft.

Bottle from Total Wine, Summerlin. Clear deep orange pour, thin white head. Aroma of fruity hops, resin, pine and somewhat floral. Flavor is quite bitter, fruity and with a huge body. Clean and well balanced. Nice brew.

This is a solid IPA. The flavor is very smooth with a great amount of hops. Very tasty and enjoyable. Give it a try.
