2.3 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
This beer is weird. Syrupy, thick, barely any aroma. Big malt backbone with caramel and some toastiness, but i don’t think it tastes anything like an Oktoberfest of any sort. The malt/hops combo creates a flavor that reminds me of a half ass barley wine, causing an identity crisis. The color is a beautiful orange amber, and sadly for me this was its strong point.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
APPEARANCE ? pours a nice amber, like most US style Oktoberfests.
NOSE - Smells like a lager, not much malt to it ? despite it?s color.
FLAVOR ? the lightest of malt flavors, otherwise pretty unremarkable.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz. bottle pours a clear reddish brown with a small off-white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is full of caramel and toffee malts, brown sugar, bread and some prunes. Taste is too sweet for my tastes, with no hop presence. Body is medium to full with low carbonation and an oily mouthfeel. The ABV makes this one a sipper. Not one of my favorites in the Big Eddy series.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pour out of 12 oz bottle, reddish brown pour with thin off white head, aroma is toast, dough, grain into a bit of caramel, toffee, slight grass. Taste was a mix of grass, hints of earth, slight toasted bread and dough, slight caramel into some grainy notes, finishing boozy, sweet.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Big eddy, uber Octoberfest, leinenkugel, WI brewer, 8.5% alcohol. Excellent colour, contains ver fine precipitate, big head, dissapates slowly, nose is winter fruits and spices, a tad bitter, no sourness evident, caramel malt taste, very nice. 7 out of 10

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
bottle - This dark amber beer has a mild caramel malt aroma with a little alcohol. The flavor is sweet malt with toasted caramel, toffee, and maybe a touch of dark fruit. Dry hopped? I’m not noticing much hops. It’s alright but not as good as a couple of the other Big Eddy releases.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle - Pours reddish-brown with a ring of white head. Nose is caramel, boozy astringency, and tons of malt. Lots of sweet bread malt in the taste, with cherry, graham cracker, and toffee. Slick and medium-bodied.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle: Dark amber & copper body, nice clarity with a fine-bubbled, creamy eggshell cap that lasts for a nice amount of time. Aroma is VERY mild. Touch of sweet caramel malts, light toast, perhaps a hint of prune. Kind of hard to pull much from it. Flavor is jam-packed, though. Very robust malty sweetness. Caramel, toffee candies, coated in a light brown sugar rub, A touch of toast, plum, fruity esters, & hints of red licorice. Maybe even almost too sweet, but still very flavorful. A light earthy tone in the finish, but still lingers with mostly Caramalt sweetness. Sticky, heavy body. Decent, though I prefer "lighter" Oktoberfests, I think.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Wasn’t sure what to expect with this beer. It caught my eye because of the "uber". Not the best Oktoberfest but an interesting idea for a beer. It’s worth trying.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
pours an orange amber with a ample white head. smells very sweet but not the toasty sweet you get in most american versions of the Marzen style. Flavor is boozy and super sweet and has a tartness to it as well that i wouldnt have expected. I dont think they did a very good job on this.
