3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
It poured a yellow/gold color with a white head. The aroma was of hops and grain. It was light on the body, but still creamy on the palate. The taste was of bread and yeast with very little hops bitterness. Not bad.

Bottle. A basic run of the mill beer. Not to good, not to bad. Quite drinkable.

1 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
Another permutation from MIller/Leinenkugels. This one is a bit lighter than their regular lager, but has the same grapefruit notes from their standard yeast strain and is not an ale and not a Kölsch. Just another low quality beer at a premium price. If you like Leinies original, you will like this one, otherwise don´t waste your time. Miller/Leinenkugels continues to give you artificial flavors and colors added to their original lager as they expand their product range instead of trying to brew a decent beer.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Appearance is pale yellow with a creamy white cap. Not much aroma, but hey it’s a kolsch. I do pick up slight pepper from the rye. Taste is ok...rye bite stands out from a traditional kolsch, and after a few drinks I pick up some hints of lemongrass. I can definitely pick up the lemongrass on the finish. Interesting take on a kolsch that seems to get better as it warms

2.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a pale yellow color with a low white head. Aroma has a very strong skunk to it, light lemon and some light grainy presence at the tail end. Flavor is very subdue. Early notes of lemon trickle in followed by a very nice, light grainy presence. The body is extremely light with a modest amount of carbonation and has a crisp finish. Overall not too bad for a macro but the nose is something that could be worked on a bit.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Oh hey, what’s this? I love Kolsch-style beers, so somehow I’m ignoring that voice in the back of my head asking me "Have you ever actually had a good Leinenkugel beer?" "Big Eddy wasn’t that bad." "Whatever, it’s your tongue." Bottled purchased. Haven’t really had much to eat all day, so decided on a nice light beer before dinner. Pour is lively an slightly overcarbonated... looks refreshing enough... glass approaches nose... sweet, creamy shitty Bud Light? Check. Tastes even slightly worse? Check? Would I much prefer a Coors Light? Check. I fart in your general direction, Mr. Leinenkugel.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle. Pours a dark golden color with a smallish white head. Nose is actually very much like so many cheap lagers. Taste is slightly sweet, but also like so many pale lagers. Kinda surprised at the lowish quality.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 ounce bottle. Pours a light gold with a 3 inch white head that slowly fades. Lots of carbonation. Taste is of malt, grain, rye and some grass. Similar clean aroma. Has a decent, clean body. Easy to drink, refreshing and just different enough to make it interesting.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: JUN 26, 2013 Nice koslch style aroma. Clear golden color. Not the best koslch ive ever had but not bad either. Drinks almost like a white wine, sweet and smooth. Not a bad spring/summer beer. Would prefer a little more grassy/earthy notes to add a little dry balance at the end.
