12 oz. bottle. Straw color, with a thin, bubbly head. Light rye bread, floral and resinous hops, cloves, and some biscuity notes. Light sweetness up front, with a pretty sharp bitterness through the finish. Light body, sticky, and fairly lively carbonation. This is just a little to hoppy and forward to be really refreshing, but still a light and relatively flavorful beer.

On tap at the local pizza place in Hartland. Pours a yellowish/golden with a white head. Aroma is a bit bready and a bit fruity. Taste follows. No real distinct taste or flavor here. Not annoying or bad, just not good either.

Nice summer beer golden color not a true kolsch style beer but excellent summer beer!

Poured a nice mid-gold with quite a nice thick head that faded to lacing. Aroma was of malts and hay. Taste was a unique mix of malts, rye, and hops - mild bitterness. Palate was acceptable. Overall, not a bad brew, especially after mowing the lawn.

Sulfur smell is a turnoff. Pours light corn tassel yellow with a rapidly receding small white head. Taste is malty with little hops influence.

average tasting beer with just a slight kick of unique flavor that I can’t put my finger on...floral perhaps... ever so slightly sweet...light on the hops. crisp finish

Bottle. Blonde body, average white head. Aroma is sweet grains with light sulfur and light yeast. Sweet grainy palate, bland, plain. Calling this a kolsch is a fucking joke. I have yet to have a Leinenkugels beer that impresses me.

Crisp refreshing summer beer, nothing special but just a notch above the typical summer lager, enough to make it worth drinking when the options are limited.

Very average, only a little more to it than a typical domestic light beer. It’s still a pretty good value for a six pack, but not very memorable. I like it better than the lemon-spiked summer seasonals though.
