COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In 1906, the Kolsch-style beer originated from the Cologne region of Germany as a crisp and light beer to combat the summer heat. Leinenkugel’s® Canoe Paddler™ is our take on the Kolsch-style beer that we tweaked with a touch of rye. Our spring and summer seasonal has subtle malt flavors, a clean finish and adventurous quality.

Sulfur smell is a turnoff. Pours light corn tassel yellow with a rapidly receding small white head. Taste is malty with little hops influence.

At Epplyana. Wow, not a great beer but I didn’t think it would get this much hate. A lawnmower beer at best but less adjunct corn tasting than some other macros. Serving: Bottle

Aroma is fairly sweet malts. Taste is uneventful with some light malts. Overall just a refreshing summer beer.

Poured golden with large white head. Get some spicy notes. Some citrus. Overall ok but nothing to write home about

Bottle: Nose is malty and fresh, mild grass, malt and rye throughout the glass. Not really much rye, but the faint spiciness suggests that its present. Really easy drinking... not much to it.

Not bad. A little boring. The rye added a nice touch of spiciness............... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Slight lemon aroma. Light and easy to drink good mouth feel and carbonation. Flavor is OK, dry and pilsner like.

12oz bottle, pours a light yellow crystal clear. Small white head that disappears quickly. Light aroma, slight flavor of fruit, I didn’t pick up the rye. Light body, low bitterness, great summer brew that is easy drinking session beer.

Weak, watery, and mostly tasteless. A very thin bodied brew that pours a beautiful golden yellow with a nice thin white head. Aroma is skunky just like the faint flavor.

12oz bottle. A pale golden color with almost no head. Aroma of lemons. Taste is grassy and ends with the taste of lemons. An easy drinking beer, but just ordinary.
