COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Creamy Dark is aged slowly for a deep, dark color; velvety flavor; and a smooth finish.

Pours a clear dark, almost opaque, cola color with a thich very light tan head. Aroma is both grassy and smokey. Taste is sweet roasted malt, a little bitter baker’s chocolate and a little pleasant sourness. Good, not great, but good. Besides, this only costed me $3.50 for a six!

Aroma: Bread, cereal and hints of nuttiness. Appearance: Dark brown with a nice, tan head. Taste: Light sweetness with a medium sourness. Palate: Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation, sour finish. Overall: Meh...it’s drinkable, but I’m not impressed or blown away. Plus the odd aftertaste is a bit unpleasant.

Dark coloured lager, creamy head. Hints of coffee and roasted grain. Good beer but not a great beer. I like it best on a cool evening around a camp fire at a lake. The label is cool, green with gold and red accents. But you can’t drink the label. Worth a try if you want to try a dark lager made in the USA.

There is a bit of coffee and a bit of cocoa in the aroma of this one. Neither is very strong. The head is white and thin, the brew is a deep reddish brown. Unfortunately, neither the coffee nor the cocoa really makes it into this beer. There is a slight roasty malt to it, but it is arrested by carbonation. There is really not much to it. The palate is blasted with high carbonation, but on the positive side, there is no nasty aftertaste. There just not much of anything here, which is a shame.

Pours black with a medium white head. Aroma is roasted malt & coffee. Taste is roasted malts and molasses. The bitterness in this beer is rather mellow you get it up front with a little bite then it smooths out nicely in the finish. Not a bad dark lager.

Aroma- Very light roasty malt, not a whole lot else Appearance- Very nice dark brown but not quite black Taste- a nice roasty/ chocolately, almost stout like taste. The nice malt roast taste lingers. Not as creamy as I expected the mouthfeel to be. Overall- This is another gift from my Wisconsin friends. It’s a good drinker, but not something i would go for often. Nice roast, but nothing overly special.

Pours dark brown with a decent, but short-lived, head. Nutty, slightly roasty lager aroma. Mouthfeel dry and a bit chalky. Flavor mostly sweet, bordering on tart, strangely. Not a lot of depth here.
