Papsoe (10459), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 16, 2006 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a very beautiful, clear mahogany with a warm, reddish glow. Creamy, beige head that sticks to my glass. Nose of roasted malt. Light-bodied - almost watery - with distinct, lightly sweet accents of roasted malt and an almost coffeeish edge. Basically no bitterness. Rather smooth and lovely. For being a Miller affiliate Leinenkugel really produces some nice and goodlooking brews. 280306 kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Name: Creamy Dark

CaptainCougar (4664), Rockville, Maryland, USA Dec 24, 2003 It's dark, but not really very creamy. Very mild lightly roasted aroma. Body is thin and could definitely use some more sweetness. Decent hop balance, but just not what I expect in something called "Creamy Dark." hopdog (4649), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 12, 2005 On tap. Poured a dark reddish brown color with an averaged sized off white head. Not much to this one. Maybe some roasted malts and nuts. Thinner body. muzzlehatch (4424), Burlington, Vermont, USA Aug 14, 2002 On tap at the Miller (!!) Time Pub in Milwaukee. Definitely above average for the brewer; I used to love these American darks/dunkels, whatever the hell they are. Not any more. Body usually seems a bit weak, and they usually don’t seem to know whether to be assertively sweet, grainy, or hoppy. Oh well, this is reasonably good, with a nice color and head, good semi-sweet caramel flavors and a decent amount of hops in the finish. The only beer worth drinking at this crappy pub in the Hilton Hotel.
