It pours like the perfect beer. A small but appreciated light head and a dark thick body.

Along with Leinieís Big Butt, the Guinness of the midwest. Very close to Guinness in flavor and appearance. A good fill in for Guinness when you canít spend 10 bucks on a 6.

I love this beer. Itís much like the thick German beers. Thick, dark beer is the way beer should be. Not the watery excuses for beer typically brewed here. One should be able to taste their beer.

I was impressed with this beer. A creamy, dark lager is something Iím not sure if Iíve had before. Iím a fan of Scotch and Brown ales. The tastes and feels similar. Sweet with hints of chocolate(?) lactose(?) Heavy, yeastey body of a lager. Highly acidic.

UPDATED: JUL 29, 2003 I'm not a bitter beer drinker but I really like the flavor of Creamy Dark. It grows on you. Better in my opinion with a meal than a stand alone after hours drinker. Nice chocolate hint in there also.

Very, very balanced. Clear chestnut brown color. Creamy nose. Very mild--mild sweetness, no standout hops. Smooth and easy. Pleasant surprise from this brewery.

Yes, a dark beer with a creamy flavor. Sounds like Guiness! One of my favorite beers to drink anytime. Imagine a lager but with chocolate hops and more. What Guiness drinkers drink when they can't afford Guiness!

I loved this beer. A hint of chocolate in every drink....who doesn't like chocolate?
