It pours like the perfect beer. A small but appreciated light head and a dark thick body.

About the best Dark beer I’ve found. Very easy to drink. Especially for a dark beer

Along with Leinie’s Big Butt, the Guinness of the midwest. Very close to Guinness in flavor and appearance. A good fill in for Guinness when you can’t spend 10 bucks on a 6.

I love this beer. It’s much like the thick German beers. Thick, dark beer is the way beer should be. Not the watery excuses for beer typically brewed here. One should be able to taste their beer.

I was impressed with this beer. A creamy, dark lager is something I’m not sure if I’ve had before. I’m a fan of Scotch and Brown ales. The tastes and feels similar. Sweet with hints of chocolate(?) lactose(?) Heavy, yeastey body of a lager. Highly acidic.
