The new amber-toned brew features roasted malt character, with English two-row malts provide the beer with a maple aroma and pronounced chocolate, caramel and hazelnut top notes.

Amber brown in appearance with strong nutty taste and a dark crystal malt. Smooth aftertaste and light in carbonation.

12 oz bottle: Pours a dark chestnut brown with a decent white head. No CO2 release or lacing. Aroma is bad, smells like a sour American lager. Taste is pretty bad too. Not much flavor for a nut brown, weak, thin, bland. Poor offering overall.

Bottle from drabmuh in an effort to help me review all 104 styles. Thanks Matt! A: The beer is clear and light copper hued, with 1/4" of head. S: The aroma is primarily of sweet malt, lager, subtle fruits. T: The beer has some good flavors happening, but they are all very muted and mild. Subtle fruit and nut flavors are pleasant but could be brought out more. M: Thin in body and perhaps a bit low in carbonation. D: An OK offering. I had no problem finishing a pint, but likely would not go back for another. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 01-31-2011

Dark, clear amber with a frothy cream colored head. Weak aroma of roasted hazelnuts and light syrup. Taste is nuts and sweet malts, but watery and really thin. Light bodied with average carbonation; again, thin. Decent flavor if it wasn’t so weak.

Brown beer with toasted nuts, caramel, and even a little cocoa going on in there. Light bodied and easily followed by a second or third. The colder the temps the better it flows.

Pours roasted brown, strong toffee, roasted nut taste. A bit sugary and metallic aftertaste, but not a bad evening beer.

Dark in color with moderate foam. Had a malty smell, and a beautiful brown color. Taste is in the title. Overall a great beer for the holiday season, you m may even consider picking up a few extra packs for of season drinking.

Light brown, no head. Light aroma of roasted malt. Very very sweet and acidic. Metallic after taste. Meh.
