COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The new amber-toned brew features roasted malt character, with English two-row malts provide the beer with a maple aroma and pronounced chocolate, caramel and hazelnut top notes.

Bottle from Malt & Vine. Pours ruddy copper with a fizzy/creamy beige head. Aroma is quite nutty. Med body more or less. Flavor is hazelnut with chocolate notes. It’s an ok brew. Beats the main macro stuff. Finishes nearly dry and somewhat bitter.

12oz bottle-pours a foamy off white head and copper color. Aroma is fruity/yeast initially then improves with medium malt-chocolate/nutty, grain/husky. Taste does not quite mesh. Aspirin/chalky, fruity/yeast, medium malt-peat/chocolate/nutty, grain/husky, some earthy hops, artificial sweetener. Thanks jwc215 for picking this out.

Aroma is heavy malt (cookie, caramel, toffee, nutty), light hops (flowers), average yeast (dough, leaves) with notes of plum, date, brown sugar, and vanilla. Bottle… Sparkling clear copper ale with a small, creamy, off-white head. Decent retention. Toasty, nutty, caramely aroma with plenty of vanilla. Light-bodied with fizzy carbonation. Perfectly balanced, thin and refreshing. Lots more vanilla in the flavor. More like a spiced cream ale than a nut brown ale… a la Anderson Valley Cerveza Crema. Finishes crisp with a pleasant, lasting, suggestion of vanilla. I’m a vanilla guy. Underrated, I think. Kudos to Kevin Berry for providing this refreshing bottle of beer!
