1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle. Clear golden yellow with an average white head. Fair lacing. Aroma is wheat, stale bread, and honey. Kind of skunky. Taste is wheat, sour malt, stale bread, tin, and a faint glimpse of honey. Watery and thin. Meh.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 5/20
Originally rated on 6/8/08. My first beer out of a four variety sampler case. It looked flat with its rapidly disappearing head and minimal carbonation, very little lacing was left. The aroma was of honey and malt. It was watery and the flavor was not good. in its defense this one was served a little too soon and it wasnt adequately cooled. I think i got a bad one.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
I purchased a six pack of this from a Pick N' Save. I poured this beer into a New Glarus pint glass. This pours a golden hue with a moderate head which leaves a nice lacing behind. There is also a good amount of carbonation present. The scent is a mixture of wheat with just a touch of honey. This beer tastes like wheat and a tad of honey however there is a bit of harshness to the taste and aftertaste. I remember enjoying this more than I do now.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a light, brilliant golden color. Well carbonated. Pours two finger short lived head. Some lacing. Very filtered. I expected it to be cloudy. Beautiful clear color.
Aroma is slightly honey. Wheat and bready. It smells a little like a honey buttered roll. <a>Taste is sweet bread, and honey. Itís different than the nose however. Thereís a little bitterness on the back end. Itís not too sweet. It really doesnít have a lot of flavor, but it does taste good.
Mouthfeel is clean and refreshing. Very drinkable. Finishes slightly wet.
Overall, itís not amazing. But it is tasty. I would have it again.

UPDATED: AUG 2, 2015 Be a dear, dear, and get me some honey.....you know the NECTAR OF THE GODS, i.e. BLATZ! This stuff, not so much. It has its merits ( like taking a dump on the job) but when you have your palate trained to enjoy the finer things in life (i.e. Blatz) all else is such a monumental letdown that you canít help but scream out at the top of your lungs: "WHY ME GOD?!"
