Pours a nice golden color with a good head and some lacing on the glass.

The aroma is neither bad nor good to me, it’s got some really nice weedy & grassy aromatics along with some herbalness that I love… but it also smells like breakfast cereal, which I detest… so It’s cool, but I wish it didn’t smell like some corn flakes.

The flavor is really pretty clean, not nearly as sweet as the aroma… by a long shot… but it’s not dry beer either. Mild malty sweetness is offered but corn is basically skipped, which is chill. The hops are more forward that I suppose I’m used to of the style… I’m a little surprised looking at the hop list offered per the commercial description… there is some fruitiness and citrus here but it’s far more grassy and herbal in it’s hop character, which is what I would want from a Helles, but it doesn’t seem like you need all those fancy hops to obtain a hop character like this… eh, pretty decent tasting either way.

Palate is bubbly and nice.

Leine’s can throw together a decent lager, and I’ll at the very least try every one they put out… glad I tried this one.

Tasted from draft. Pours a clear golden amber with white head. Some lacing present. Aroma of mostly grass and pine. Taste is a moderately bitter with mild sweetness. Grass, pine and citrus notes. Also some caramel taste up front. Light to medium bodied. Very sessionable. Much better than american pilsners. Pretty good lager. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not bad. Tastes a bit like a macro pilsner, but has some character. Grassy, but the hops help. Tastes like bud American ale.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle stamped JAN 2014-D20010748. Golden yellow pour with a short-lived fizzy white head. Tangy aroma of mildly roasted malts, grass, lemon and musk. Body is light to medium. The taste is grainy, hoppy, and citrusy.

This was a good beer turned average. Its clear golden with no head. It has kind of a sweet grassy flavor only slightly less lame than a macro.
