Light, crisp, mildly hoppy. A light beer with some hops upfront and a malty/yeasty finish.

Transfer from BA review on 9-11-13- Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a amber color with tons of small carbonation bubbles seen streaming up through the brew. Upon pouring there is a two finger foamy white head. The head has a decent level of retention, holding on for about 2 or 3 min before fading to leave some light foamy lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma is heaviest of a musty and stale grain smell mixed with some aromas of corn and a bit of a papery smell. Mixed with these, are some lighter notes of a grassy smell producing a rather adjunct like aroma overall. Taste – The taste begins with a smooth bready flavor with a light caramel sweetness. There is a little bit of a grassy taste upfront which grows stronger as the flavor advances on to the end. Along with the grass, some other flavors of an earthy and floral nature come to the tongue with the caramel fading ever so slightly, in the end, leaving a rather crisp taste on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the medium to possibly slightly more creamy side with a carbonation level that on the slightly higher side. Overall it was a rather appropriate feel and was nice for the crisp taste and easy drinking flavors of the brew. Overall – An easy drinker. Nothing exceptional, but nothing off putting either. Overall alright.

Pours a clear orange-yellow with a large fluffy white head. Not much of an aroma but is mostly grain. Flavor of light hops and malt. Light on flavor but not unpleasant.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. Aroma- Great hops smell with some malt thrown in. Appearance- A nice golden color that is clear, with a white head Taste- A light bitter flavor from the hops which goes well with the carbonation Palate- A medium body with soft carbonation that has a nice finish. Overall- This is a well made beer in my opinion. It had everything that I was looking for (at the time) a great color with no overpowering "craft beer extravaganza aroma" to dazzle my senses and a great "mouthfeel" that led me to enjoy this beer. . . repeatedly LOL

It had an overall aroma of an unflushed toilet the morning after you have friends over. The taste wasn’t much better. It was super herby and barnyardy, I find most of the leinenkugel brand misses the mark but this actually caused me to give most of it away.

From a twist off bottle dated 1/14 it pours like a lager. Slight volatile aroma. First impression is decent co2. Then the typical hop stuff sets in. Not as strong as an IPA mind you, but certainly hoppy in a personality kindah way. Yes, perhaps this is more like a high hopped lager. Not sure if my lager loven taste buds can handle too much of this, tho. However, I must say it is somewhat refreshing in its own way.

Not as hoppin’ as the name implies. Quite average and neutral. Don’t get this if you’re in the mood for an IPA. But if your in the mood for a lager it’s much much better than a Bud

Bottle. Pours amber with no head. Minimal aroma. The hoppin part was misleading as there was minimal hop flavor though it seemed well balanced and to the style while being pretty light and easy to drink.

A bit funky and watery, but pretty well balanced, pleasantly sweet and easy to drink.

Nice try leinie, good hop aroma, good hop presence but the mixture of a helles with this much hops just doesnt balance right, doesnt come across right.

A bright beer. The color is golden and the carbonation mild. The flavor is mild with toasted malt, semi-sweet, and citrusy. The palate is light and crisp. A generic helles but a refreshing brew.
