Confession time: Leiney’s regular Summer Shandy has kind of become one of my go-to summer beers, despite whatever low rating I’ve given it here. So I was actually a little bit excited to see this. And it’s really not bad, but the "berry" flavors don’t add much. The problem, I suppose, is that it seems a bit artificial, like Boo-Berry cereal. Not a deal breaker, but it doesn’t really enhance the beer. I will buy this again in the future, but probably as a throw-in in a build your own sixer.

This is surprisingly good. Very refreshing on a hot summer day...and much better than the summer shandy. Very nice berry flavor. If I’m sitting outside when its hot, I could be pounding these. Not sure how it is going to do through the winter though.

Appearance was cloudy reddish pink amber with rocky dimisinhing berryish 1 finger head, spotty lacing. Aromas are blueberry, boiseberry, blcekberry, gooseberry, and lemonade. Taste was sweet berrys’ of blackberry, blue, boise and lemons, that all. Palate was crispy smooth CO2 with light body, then fruity average length finish. Good after mowning lawn session brew...

Bottle into a goblet. Pour is a tan orange, with a light head. Aroma is of lemon with a light malt. Taste is lemon and sweet berry with a light malt under tone. Finish is sweet wash. Almost like a wine cooler.
