3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
16 ounce can, best before 11/26/2012. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a hazy orange/amber color with about an inch off-white head that stayed around for a while. Thereís also a good amount of lacing. It smells like blackberries and lemonade. Itís not a bad smelling brew at all. It tastes like lemonade, blackberries and some grainy malt. Nice mix of sweet and tart flavors. Mouthfeel/body is light, itís refreshing and very easy to drink with a good amount of carbonation. I think itís a decent enough brew, it would be nice to drink on a hot day. $6.99 a 4-pack.

12oz bottle poured into glass. Very fruity, much more so then most shandyís Iíve had. Lemons up front with hints of raspberries on the back end. Sort of like a sprite soda really.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a cloudy pink with decent head and lacing. Smells of berries. Tastes like they mixed berry weis and summer shandy. A pretty tasty beer.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a cloudy light pink/orange color. Lemon aroma. Medium carbonation. Tastes of lemon and berries (go figure). Very drinkable. Almost tastes like a wine cooler. Much better than either berryweiss or summer shandy.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft. Poured hazy reddish yellow color with an average fizzy white head that mostly lasting with fair lacing. Good lemon and berry aroma. Medium body with a smooth thick texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet lemonade flavor with medium sweet finish of moderate duration. This sweet beer met my expectations.

Pours like I drank it from the can. Berry and lemon tartness. Plenty of sugar, some light grainy wheat notes. Finishes like leines. Yeah buddy!

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Hazy orangish. Lots of lemon on the nose. Ok, as a Leinies fan...this is simply a combo of Berry Weis and Summer Shandy. So to break it down...Lemony sweet and wheat. A decent summer ale but too sweet for too many.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 9/20
Little aroma. Cloudy, purpley pour is pretty to look at. Malty as hell with TONS of lacing on the glass. Outside of the huge, long lasting head carbonation is virtually non-existent. While that makes it go down ultra smooth, it also affects itís thirst quenching capabilities. Overall this is a bit strange. Itís like Berry Weiss that has been watered down with Summer Shandy. I love Berry Weiss, so the idea of watering it down with anything offends me. Had I never tried Berry Weiss Iíd probably rated this higher.
But this is tasty. Very nice and flavorful. Could use a lot more carbonation, though. And a bit more alcohol.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Confession time: Leineyís regular Summer Shandy has kind of become one of my go-to summer beers, despite whatever low rating Iíve given it here. So I was actually a little bit excited to see this. And itís really not bad, but the "berry" flavors donít add much. The problem, I suppose, is that it seems a bit artificial, like Boo-Berry cereal. Not a deal breaker, but it doesnít really enhance the beer. I will buy this again in the future, but probably as a throw-in in a build your own sixer.
