A name like Leinenkugels makes one think of interesting flavors and unique palates. Unfortunately, the Lemon Berry Shandy is at the shallow end of the flavor pool. This beer lacks complexity and does a poor job in cohesion of flavors. Yuk!

Strangebrewer (791) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - APR 19, 2013
bottle. Poured hazy amber with a pink tint, frothy white head. Candied fruit aroma. Light mouthfeel, tart finish. Very sweet lemon-lime soda with grapefruit and wheat flavour. Not what I consider to be a real beer but it’s not horrible.

Bottle Aroma: Citrus, floral, aroma that is fairly pleasing to the nose. Appearance: Hazy, pale yellow color with minimal head. Taste: heavily sour, medium sweetness. Palate: light body, thin feel, fizzy, abrupt finish. Overall: I actually hated the first taste, however towards the bottom of the bottle I started to enjoy it. Not bad for a summer time indulgence.

Sweet and somewhat enjoyable on a hot day, however one of those that’s like a pale lager that is best pretty cold.

On tap at Wild Wings n Things (Fort Collins). Dark orange and cloudy. Sweet fruity aroma, lemons, candy, citrus. Light body with a crisp feel. Fruity and refreshing, not too bad.

Terrible just terrible. I have no idea why I even bought this one. Very heavy on the citrus with no other complimentery notes.

airrick2003 (410) - Louisiana, USA - MAR 24, 2013
Appearance: very hazy amber color, thick mostly white head with a hue of peach to it, head has moderate retention and minimal lacing Aroma: strong blackberry and lemon, Taste: strong blackberry, lemon at the end, some sourness, tart Palate: not very much c02 burn, some sour aftertaste Overall: interesting combination of flavors, both the blackberry and lemon come thru strong, besides some tart that's all you taste ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle (from backlog). If I’m at the beach and want a hard lemonade, this is what I’d pick. Lots of lemon and berries in the flavor and taste without tasting too fake. I could definitely only do one because it is so sweet but in the right environment it hits the spot.
