1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Very light aroma of fruit, tastes like carbonated fruit juice, no finish on the palate, light and refreshing for a hot day, but hardly seems like a beer.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle. Pours a rather odd looking pinkish tinged body with a small fizzy white head that faded to a thin ring. The aroma is full on fruit juice, smells like it’s candy or something that comes in a little cardboard box with a tiny straw. The flavor is very sweet with blackberry juice and not a whole lot else. There might be a little yeast and Hefe character, but it’s really hard to find. Mouthfeel is a bit stick and clingy from all the sugar with fizzy soft carbonation. Lingering berry laced finish. This is about as good as all the other shandy crappers out there, clearly marketed at the malternative crowd.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a cloudy light copper with light hues of pink and bears a foamy head. Aromas of pink lemonade/blackberry upfront with just a hint of grain hidden behind all the fruitiness. Flavors of light blackberry, hints of pink lemonade, slight grain (which does not mix well), and slight hay. Leaves a light grain like aftertaste. Lightly sweet and light on the flavors. The nose is where the action mostly is, everything else doesn’t mix well or is light.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Purchased as part of the 2013 Leinenkugel Winter Variety 12 pack - Alright, this purplish hued brew smells berryesque, with the flavor adding a citrus bite to the berry/malty base taste. It’s okay.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours yellow with red hints and smells of the juices that went into making it a shandy. Tastes very much of the berry that was added. Should have had this beer in the summer not the dead of winter

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Hmmm, as fruity and fruit-cakeeld up as this beer sounds, it actually doesn’t taste that bad... a nice acheivement from Coors, I mean leinenkugel, given a lot of the beers they’ve put out lately. This one lacks artificial sweeteners and flavors and color as one would expect and just looks like an amber lager with a big white head and tastes like dry fruit and sugar. Drink ths ice cold when you’re done laboring and when its gone drink something else.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Murky peach with a thin off-white head. Sweet and tart aroma of lemonade and a hint of fruit. Taste is unspectacular with lemonade, berry and sweet. Not a beer IMO.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
120z bottle from jcwatts, guess this was left over from a bbq or something because no real beer dude would buy this. Not going into a crazty real review here because this is not a real beer by any stretch of the word beer. This is a cross between a frjuity soda and an old fashioned wine cooler which was actually flavored beer. This is about as artificial as Michael Jackson’s face while he was still alive. Berry soda with a super slight malt bite at the end sums this up acurately.
