A hazy light pour. Really refreshing. A bit more tart than the other Leinenkugel shandys. Overall it’s a very refreshing beer which has it’s place.

bottle - Pours hazy light amber and has a fruity aroma, especially lemons. The flavor is very sweet. As another rater said it’s like lemonade. It’s light bodied and refreshing though the fruit comes off as kind of artificial tasting. Okay beer.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Leinenkugel’s Lemon Berry Shandy has a very thick, slightly tinted white head, a very hazy, pink-orange appearance, with a large, swirling, gray cloud of sediment descending, with lots of ascending bubble streams. There are some lacing rings left behind. The aroma is of lemon drink, and the flavor is of sugary, lemon drink, sourness, citrus juice, and white bread. Mouthfeel is mostly heavy. Leinenkugel’s Lemon Berry Shandy finishes juice dry, very sweet, and gulpable. Overall, for what it is- a fruit/beer concoction, it is very good. For beer over all, it is only average. It is just too sweet! RJT

Pours a hazy orange with a medium sized fluffy white head. Aroma of lemon and fruit. Flavor matches. Way too easy to drink.

Sweet and somewhat enjoyable on a hot day, however one of those that’s like a pale lager that is best pretty cold.

2.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
This berry scented pinkish gold beer has a pleasingly sweet aroma. It's a little too sweet and doesn't really taste much like beer.

Taster on tap at Keystone in Hyde Park. Hazy orange amber color. Thin white head. Leaves pretty decent lace. Lemon, berry, and grapefruit in the nose, actually doesn’t smell too bad. Bit too sweet in the taste, flavor is a little artificial tasting. Light body, smooth carbonation. The small sample I had was alright, nothing offensive, but a full pint would have likely been a drag. Nothing about the sample made me want more of it. Wasn’t too much to the flavor that was appealing, and even the small portion was too sweet. Still, beats lemon shandy, in my opinion. But orange shandy edges it out. Was less sweet and more zesty, from what I remember

Bottle. Aroma has notes of wine cooler sweetness, berries and citrus. Average white head and a medium amber hue. Flavor is very sweet and lightly bitter and medium tart. Palate is light bodied and watery with average carbonation. Overall a typical girlie beer that’s meant for casual pool-side drinking by ladies.

DATE REVIEWED: August 28, 2014... GLASSWARE: Hoegaarden tumbler... OCCASION: preseason Manziel being Johnny, for better and worse... APPEARANCE: peachy, fuzzy, hazy body; equally fuzzy off-white head; smears unevenly... AROMA:syrupy tart raspberry scents; elicits a sweettart mouthwatering reaction; an unnatural scent for a beer?.. PALATE: lightly fizzy, effervescent champagne-like exit--a soda-like gassiness--creamy late in the glass... TASTE: at first, a teasing of sugary, caramelized feint; some peppermint mixes with the medicinal berry; reminiscent of a Captain Morgan and ginger ale ...OVERALL: another fruity offering from Leinie--and though many of these become repetitious, in this case, the lemon berry is easy drinking, slightly tart and not a bad companion on a warm August night...
