Itís hard to comment on this as a beer. itís more akin to a cola in my opinion. As a cola or a sprite type product itís decent. light berry flavor, fizzy, sweet and would be greatly refreshing on a hot day. As a beer, itís thin and overly carbonated. the nose is dominated by the berry and lemony sweetness. The taste is strong berry with hint of lemon and again very sweet. My saving grace of this beer is one of a lot of sub par products, it would be nice on a hot day because it would be refreshing, but so would water or some lemon lime soft drink. Thatís not really saying much.

Can: Blackberry and raspberry nose. Cloudy amber, thick head. Lemon and blackberry flavor. Light body, a little watery, soft carbonation. Very refreshing, not very beery.

Bottle: Pours a hazy fruit juice color akin to a berry wine cooler, topped with a creamy white head. Nose is sprite, lemon, and berry juice... also akin to a wine cooler. Tastes a little grainy, lemon, and sprite. A little blackberry juice brings up the rear. The lemon is a bit unpleasant; it reminds me of that cheap lemon juice that comes in the plastic lemon bottle. Pass.

My least favorite of their Shandy group. This one goes too far into syrupy fruit territory. Plus they all only seem to be 4.2%. Go pour some vodka in a Capri Sun instead. Or, you know, grab a real beer.

Typical shandy. More lemon flavor than anything. Nice for a Summer day. From a can.

Very smooth tasting brew. A very good balance of lemon, berry, and beer. Highly recommended for a fruity crisp taste.

When I am homesick for Wisconsin and want to relive my youth, I grab a Berryweiss, but saw this...not bad. Still like the Berry on a hot lawn mowing day.

Summer shandy holds a special place in my heart. Was the first craftish beer I got into leading me to where I am now. I however never liked the berryweise. This seems to be a blend of the two. Way too much sugar. An almost artificial berry taste. More like a wine cooler or some sort of sugary ímalt beverageí thing.
