3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 alcoholica (128) - Dublin, Ohio, USA - NOV 18, 2003UPDATED: MAY 27, 2007 This is a lager that makes me proud to be an american. This is what budweiser should be, instead of that crappy rice flavored piss. Leinenkugel makes a pretty damn good beer.

An average beer at best. Not much flavor an color. Tastes kind of skunky. Wouldn't expect a goo beer out if leinenkugels

This is fastly becoming a popular item. It pours a golden amber color with a wheaty and grassy scent. In it’s taste there are some nice citrus hints mixed with a nice blend of grains that finish with a nice apple spice hint. Not too weak and not too strong either. Something new to try that will be a decent drink.

For the price and considering the style, I think this pretty decent. Pale and yet still somewhat rich. It has a bit too much of a corn sweetness, but the body is heavier than most competition.

12oz bottle, labeled Leinenkugel’s Limited Golden Lager, dated May 2011. Pours a crystal clear golden yellow color with a big white head and some lacing. Aroma is malty, bread, corn, a little bit of spicy hops. Medium on the palate with average carbonation. Flavor is sweet, malty, corn, with a light, sweet finish. A decent pale lager, if that’s you’re thing.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 thirdeye11 (5001) - Dallas, Texas, USA - OCT 27, 2011
(12oz bottle dated May 2011, thanks to Cavie) clear bright gold with fine white bubbles, effervescent. Nose of spices, cracked grain, light sugar, gold raisins. Taste of old grain, sugar, clean, but not enjoyable. Weird carbonation, decent for a lager in general.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 evanlarkin (218) - Northfield, Minnesota, USA - OCT 4, 2011
Ported from BA.
Appearance:
A light clear orange with no head at all.
Smell:
malty and dry. No real residual aromas, other than possibly some caramel. Falls a little flat here.
Taste:
Dry and malty, beginning, middle, and into the aftertaste. Surprisingly robust actually. Crisp and clean.
Mouthfeel:
Pretty standard carbonation, nothing out of the ordinary. Like I said, very crisp. More body than I had expected, close to the medium range.
Drinkability:
Reasonable. It’s a decent lager in my opinion, and I’d have no trouble drinking several. Not a real taste bud kicker, but pretty pleasant nonetheless.

Bottle via trade. Pours a clear light yellow gold color with a white fizzy head. Aroma is very light and subtle with maybe a slight hint of grains. Not much. Flavor is dry malts, grains and nothing. There’s hardly anything to this.
