COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A traditional Marzen brewed with 2-Row Pale, Caramel, and Munich malts. The malts give it a hearty character and deep amber color. Tettnanger and Perle hops provide a well-balanced, drinkable finish prefect for Fall celebrations.

Is there such a thing as bad Marzen? Leinenkugel’s brews a straight-forward presentation of the style. I find the color pleasing and enticing, the nose about right, and it goes down smooth. It’s not the best but it’s good.

Not a great festbier. The nose is light bread and floral. Light amber brown with a frothy head. Balanced without depth. Light and clean on the tongue.

Bottle to pint glass. Pours a clear orange amber with a thin white head and little lacing. Aroma is sweet malts, bread dough, and caramel. Taste is malts, bread, and mild grassy hops. Mouthfeel is thin. It’s sorta like Oktoberfest light. Ok beer.

Good not great. Its really hard for this beer to compete in the oktoberfest category with so many great beers in that category. When drinking for first time don’t have high expectations. That way you won’t be let down. Still not a bad beer to have in the fridge.

This beer is better than rated. It's kind of a blend of Honey Brown and Sam's Oktoberfest. The sweetness is nice but not overpowering. If you like a beer with a little molasses sweetness, you may just like this beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

355ml bottle. Nice clear copper colour with a moderate off white head. Pretty standard aroma and taste, caramel and grain. Average body. Overall, simple, but enjoyable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a very thick white head. Nose is fairly malty with some slight caramel notes to it. Taste is a little sweeter than I expected. Meh.

On tap. Looks nice in the glass, a deep red/amber. Aroma is mild - just some malt, maybe a little hops. Super carbonated at first, which together with the spices makes for a strange bite going down. This mellowed out after it warmed and settled. Taste was fine, but pretty basic. Not much aftertaste.

Poured from 12 oz. bottle at Bay Pointe Golf Club in Bloomfield Township, MI. Clear, sparkling red-copper amber with off-white head and fair lacing. Aroma of caramel, grain, hay and hops. Taste of grain, floral hops and caramel. Fairly dry. Light/medium body with high carbonation. Hoppier than a typical Oktoberfest, but that does not detract. Nothing special, but not bad either. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice orange body with a white head, that fades quick. Aroma is slightly copper/metallic with hints of caramel. Taste is a typical Marzen, carmale hops with a nice sweet balance. Not bad.
