COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A traditional Marzen brewed with 2-Row Pale, Caramel, and Munich malts. The malts give it a hearty character and deep amber color. Tettnanger and Perle hops provide a well-balanced, drinkable finish prefect for Fall celebrations.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a very thick white head. Nose is fairly malty with some slight caramel notes to it. Taste is a little sweeter than I expected.

In bottle at United Lounge/Chicago .. not bad. Easy drinking, a little sweet/creamy for a marzen and does not compare to true German marzens but OK.

11/9/13. Bottle up the mountains given to me from Doug. By the time I drank this one, I was 36 hours into a 2 day bender. However... I remember drinking this one and being underwhelmed. Not a fan of Oktoberfest beers. it poured an amber-orange. Fairly carbonated with a foamy white head. Light aroma and taste. mostly sweet. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Co-worker didn’t like the beer so he gave me the remaining bottles. Poured a light, copper color with a fizzy white head. Aroma was notes of light caramel malts, some grain. Flavor was sweet malts, some notes of grains. Okay, inexpensive, but nothing spectacular here.

Draft. Pours clear copper with thin, fizzy beige head. Smells like malt, light caramel, light fig, and hints of wood. Not an impressive flavor. Dry malt and light caramel sweetness. Dry finish. Low/medium body and medium carbonation.

Pours a dark copper color with a moderate head and bits of lacing. Aroma of malt, bit of caramel sweetness, fruit and citrus. Taste of malt, some caramel sweetness. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Fairly light body, smooth but a bit short on flavor. Decent beer, but hoped for a bit more character.
