A traditional Marzen brewed with 2-Row Pale, Caramel, and Munich malts. The malts give it a hearty character and deep amber color. Tettnanger and Perle hops provide a well-balanced, drinkable finish prefect for Fall celebrations.

12 ounce bottle into dimpled mug, best before 11/2/2015. Pours crystal clear deep orange/copper color with a 1 finger fairly dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of honey, light caramel, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/bready malt and moderate earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of honey, light caramel, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of honey, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness, light pepper, and herbal/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Good robustness, complexity, and balance of dark/bready malt and moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Very clean on lager flavors with minimal yeast ester notes present. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish as expected of 5.1%. Overall this is a nice oktoberfest style. All around good balance, robustness, and complexity of dark/bready malt and moderate earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Really not much good going on here. Not much flavor at all. Difficult to appreciate any malt flavor.

12 oz bottle- Pours clear autumn amber with a small off white head. Aroma is spicy bready rye, light hops, caramel malt. Taste is bready rye, dry bitterness that balances the sweet caramel malt. Body is a bit too thin, watery, but super easy drinking. Not bad actually.

This beer is one of the few things that get me excited about fall. Perhaps not as malty, and perhaps more hoppy than a genuine Oktoberfest marzen, this beer comes pretty close, and what’s more, it’s likely more palatable to our hops loving north American palates. This beer marries the caramel malt forwardness of a true Oktoberfest beer with one I’ll enjoy having in multiples. Great job leinies!

Pours a clear copper color with a small off white head. Mild sweet malty aroma with some hoppy notes coming through. The flavor is malt, some mild hops and a mild sweetness. OK not great.

Has a nice fall amber color. Aroma seemed faint. A bit too much carbonation; tasted slightly like seltzer water mixed with beer. To be fair, it could have been a bad bottle in the singles craft beer section at the grocery store I bought it from. It happens. I'd try a couple more for a 2 out of 3. Malt flavor is nice with a slightly bitter finish. I wonder if this Oktoberfest might taste better warm vs cold. Seems the cold may dull the flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear brunt orange with a thin sticky white cap. Biscuity lager and classic Oktoberfest malty nose. Crisp and dry flavor with marzen malts and a touch of doughy, dry toffee and a little English muffin.
